or Construction
Type TF/TFF/TFFN is a flexible insulated
single conductor composed by solid and
bunch-stranded bare annealed copper wires;
TF/TFF conductors has a thermoplastic
insulation of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and
the TFFN has PVC isolation and protected
with a Nylon sheath. Designed to operate
at not more than 600VAC, TF/TFF/TFFN
are manufactured in sizes 18AWG and
16AWG, available colors are black, white,
red, blue, green, yellow, orange, gray,
and brown.
Application
TF/TFF conductors have been designed
to operate at 60ºC in dry or wet conditions.
In the other hand, TFFN conductors were
designed to operate at 90ºC in dry conditions
and 75ºC in wet conditions.
These conductors could be used at internal
wiring of lamps or similar equipment, where
they be protected with no risk to be bend or

twist while operation. In a similar application,
connecting lamps from the branch circuit
conductors as indicated at Art. 402 of NEC
2002. However, TF/TFF/TFFN shall not be
used as branch circuit conductors.
These conductors are also used for wiring
of control systems.

Specifications
• TF/TFF conductors have been designed
according to ASTM B3, B174, UL-62 and
UL-1581 specifications.

Installation
TF/TFF/TFFN conductors have been
manufactured to operate in wiring of lamps or
similar devices where be protected to be bent
o damaged. Besides, these conductors might
be use connecting to branch circuit lamps or
other apparatus of low energy consumption
according to Art. 402 of NEC 2002.
