The ASR 7 wire rope hoist
The ASR 7 wire rope hoist from STAHL CraneSystems is a reengineered, reduced
design on the basis of the approved AS 7 wire rope hoist. It is designed for
the 20,000 kg to 32,000 kg S.W.L. range, efficiently bridging the gap between
the SH and AS 7 wire rope hoist programmes.
Constructed with tested standard series components from the AS 7 programme,
the slimline ASR 7 wire rope hoist offers you numerous advantages, also as
regards cost-effectiveness. Thanks to the lower safe working load, smaller
motors and smaller-diameter long-life ropes can be used without forfeiting the
accustomed STAHL CraneSystems quality; increased lifting height is achieved
when compared with the equivalent drum length of the standard programme.
Bottom hook block and return sheaves have been adapted to the 20 mm
diameter rope. The ASR 7 wire rope hoist is available in three different FEM
classifications depending on safe working load and application.
Although its standard equipment is already first-class, you may wish to make
your ASR 7 wire rope hoist even safer, more cost-effective and convenient by
choosing additional mechanical, electrical and electronic features. For
example on this hoist too a frequency-controlled hoist motor is available,
providing smooth starting and braking characteristics, stepless speed control,
reduced load swing and precise positioning. On this series for the first time
the suspended load is monitored as standard at the rope anchorage. It
can thus be measured precisely during lifting and lowering and registered on
a display.
The ASR 7 wire rope hoist can be mounted on a double rail crab on a double
girder overhead travelling crane, or used as a stationary lifting or towing
device.
