General product information:
The Safety Manager System is a microprocessor based safety system which is used for various plant
process controls. The overall system is mounted in a steel cabinet with a tool secured door.
This system is of modular design consisting of a power supply system with the voltage ranges of 94 – 253
Vac (50/60Hz) that includes power supply units (PSUs) that generates 24 Volts dc supplies; main switches,
power distribution rails, controller chassis with QPPs, communication modules, 5V supply modules,
input/output chassis with all input/output modules and field termination assemblies and /or terminals and the
Ethernet switch for communications within the system. All these are assembled inside the tool secured IP64
rated steel enclosure.
The SK 3340.024, SK 3341.024, SK 3350.024 and SK 3351.024 Fan Assemblies manufactured by Rittal and
installed in Honeywell Safety Manager systems are designed for industrial process control applications.
These Fan Assemblies Series are suitable for supply voltages of 24 Vdc with current of up to 0.75A. The fan
units are classified as Pollution Degree 2 and Overvoltage Category II. The units operate at an ambient
temperature range of -10 °C to +55° C and are assessed together with the cabinets. The fans are installed
inside the cabinet.
