RESULTS
•
Treatment 4, the N-Sure/UAN blend at 75 lbs. of nitrogen per acre, had the same yield as
treatment 5 at UAN at 145 lbs. nitrogen per acre.
•
Treatment 6, the moderate rate of UAN at 75 lbs. of nitrogen per acre, yielded 3.0 tons less than the
N-Sure/UAN treatment at the same rate of nitrogen per acre.
•
Adding N-Sure to UAN significantly improves the Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NEU) of UAN fertilizer by
adding a fourth, more slowly available form of nitrogen for a more balanced nutrient program.
