3 programmable
cup sizes
Cup warming plate
Steam knob
SBS
Height and depth
adjustable
dispensing head
Hot water/Steam nozzle
ON/OFF switch
Drip tray
1.
Open the bean grinder and pour in espresso beans.
The grinder has 1 setting:
•
Knob adjust the grind – the coarser ( ) the grind, the weaker the coffee; the finer ( •) the grind, the
stronger the coffee (••
••••)
2.
Adjust the grinder according to desired taste.
Note: the grinder takes approximately 3 grinds (i.e. 3 coffees) to adjust.
3.
Put COLD water into the water reservoir – lift the lid on the tank or remove the tank and take to tap.
4.
Switch the machine on (use the power button at the back of the machine). It takes 60 seconds for the
ready lights to stop flashing and go green. (Don’t leave the machine on for longer than about 2 hours at
a time).
5.
Press one of the 3 cup sizes for the amount of water you want to use – the more water, the weaker the
coffee and the more the volume (i.e. To program the cup sizes you have to press the cup size you want
to program and hold the button in until the coffee starts pouring out, when you are satisfied with the
coffee level, release the button. It will now be permanently programmed on that size until reprogrammed)
6.
Turn the SBS button to adjust the brewing of the coffee. The adjustment can be made while brewing
the coffee. The adjustment will have an immediate effect on the coffee brewed. If you turn the button to
the right, it will give you a strong espresso coffee. If you turn the button to the left it will give you a mild
espresso coffee, and in the middle it will give you a medium espresso coffee.
7.
Check: water is in, machine is ready, beans are in bean hopper and cup is placed under dispensing
head.
8.
Place one or two cups under cup dispensing head and press the one of the cup sizes. If you press the
button twice then you can make two cups at the same time

stop it by repressing the button. Wait for the drips to finish.
FROTHING THE MILK – INCANTO SIRIUS
Steam knob
Steam nozzle
1. Use a heatproof container (a metal or ceramic jug).
2. Fill the container about half full or less with milk.
3. Prime the steam tube first by opening the steam knob (on the right hand side of the machine to let the initial
water out.) Do this until it is only steam coming out.
4. Place the jug with milk under the steam tube and turn the steam knob towards yourself.
5. For the first few seconds, hover the steam nozzle just below the surface of the milk (about 4 cm).
6. After the first few seconds, raise and lower the nozzle into the milk to heat the milk.
7. Once foam has formed, submerge the nozzle into the milk to heat the milk.
8. Close the knob when done. Knock the jug a few times to get the air out, otherwise the froth will collapse.
9. Wipe the steam tube clean with a damp cloth, to prevent milk encrustations.
10. It is easier to froth ice-cold milk (full cream long-life milk is better but a good quality foam can be produced
with 2% low fat or skim milk)
HOW TO PUT THE WATER FILTER INTO THE WATER TANK
1. Remove the filter from the packing container.
2. Adjust the dater to the current month.

3. Insert the applicator and turn it clockwise to secure it to the filter.
4. Check where the filter positioning and reference mark is.
5. Put the filter into the empty water tank.
6. The reference must be positioned in correspondence with the groove.
7. Press until the end limit.
8. Turn the applicator counter-clockwise and remove it from the tank.
9. Fill the tank with fresh drinkable water.
10. Position a container beneath the steam nozzle and turn the machine on.
11. Press the hot water button and open the knob to dispense water.
12. Empty the water tank out at intervals.
13. When the tank is empty, fill it again with fresh drinkable water.
14. Please note: you do not need the filter to use the coffee machine. The machine can be used without it.
DESCALING THE INCANTO SIRIUS
1. We advise that the machine be descaled every 6 months. Never use vinegar as a descaling agent. You can
use any commercially available non-toxic, non-harmful descaling product for coffee machines. We
recommend using a Saeco descaling agent.
2. First remove the filter.
3. Switch off the machine
4. Fill the water tank and add the descaling solution.
5. Place a large container under the steam nozzle.
6. Switch the machine on.
7. Press the descaling button (last button on the right hand side) for 5 seconds.
8. Open the steam knob. The descaling process starts.
9. The solution will be discharged at intervals.
10. This process takes approximately 45 minutes.
11. The lights will flash to signal descaling is over.
12. Close the knob and remove container.
13. Rinse out the tank and fill it with fresh drinking water.
