Consolidate all your document printing, copying, scanning and
faxing requirements with the DocuCentre 550I/450I.
DocuCentre 550I/450I transmits faxes at speeds of less than three
seconds per page and can be configured to include two additional fax
lines for sending and receiving faxes.
PC Faxing - to save paper and reduce costs users can send faxes
directly from their PC using the printer driver.
Scanning

A speedy, reliable multifunction device, capable of producing
quality output at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution with speeds of
up to 55/45 ipm. In addition to this, DocuCentre is equipped
with a customisable User Interface and can be configured with a
variety of functional, paper tray and finishing options to best suit
your organisation’s requirements.
Printing
The DocuCentre 550I/450I is capable of scanning at speeds of
55/52 ipm. This allows the timely conversion of hard copy copies
to digital format, retaining the original characteristics as closely as
possible. Once scanned, documents can be transferred to any of
the 500 mailboxes on the device, or a number of destinations on
the organisation’s network (using FTP and SMB protocol).
Copying
The DocuCentre 550I/450I boasts numerous print features including:
The DocuCentre 550I/450I incorporates a number of noteworthy
copy features:
Secure Print – maximises the security of confidential documents
as it allows a print job to be sent to the device, but requires the
user to enter a predefined password at the device to enable printing.
Lightweight Media Copying – documents such as tracing paper
as thin as 38gsm can be copied effectively and images
reproduced clearly.

Mailbox Print / Document Merge – documents printed by one or
more users can be saved to a mailbox indefinitely through the
printer driver or by scanning at the device. Such documents can
be merged with others within the mailbox and/or easily retrieved on
demand for printing.
Favourite Print Settings – the settings of frequently printed documents
can be saved as favourites in users’ printer drivers. These include
paper sizes, cover insertion(s), duplex and finishing requirements
and save the time required to manually select these for each
print job.

Customisable User Interface
The user interface can be set-up to feature only the most commonly
used functions. These can be set to either hard or touch screen
buttons according to preference, while other function keys can be
relocated to simplify usage even further.

Job Build – this feature makes merging and manipulating hard
