Concepts and
Skills
Geometry: Concepts and Skills is a course designed for students who
have difficulty with mathematics. It outlines most of the same topics
as Geometry, only at a slower pace. Students with average or above
average ability/grades in mathematics should take Geometry instead.
Students who are considering attending a university or a technical
college are strongly encouraged to take Geometry. Students will be
required to have a TI30XIIS scientific calculator.
Topics covered:
Points, lines, planes, angles, triangles,
quadrilaterals, polygons, congruency, similarity, area, volume, and
surface area.
