NOTE: The optional emergency ballast operates one T5 fluorescent lamp at 825 lumens initial light output in the emergency mode for
a minimum of 90 minutes. The emergency ballast accepts either 120 or 277V which must remain unswitched. This normally requires the
use of a 4-wire feed with one leg switched, 1 unswitched, 1 neutral, and 1 ground. If the emergency ballast is combined with the optional
occupancy sensor, it is possible to combine the switched and unswitched leads together and use the occupancy sensor to power down
the fixture during unoccupied periods. Operation in this mode would only require a standard unswitched 3-wire feed.
The occupancy sensor is switch-selectable to turn all lamps off in the unoccupied mode or to leave 2 lamps on. The “on” time delay
is adjustable from 20 seconds to 20 minutes. The adjustment permits the user to tune the fixture for maximum energy savings with
acceptable lamp life.
