Site Control
Documentation reasonably demonstrating ownership, right to
develop, option to purchase, leasehold or an exclusivity or
business relationship between the applicant and the
person/company owning the property that gives the applicant the
right to construct a Generating Facility on the land. If
Interconnection Customer owns the land, the most recent property
tax receipt for the location would be an acceptable form of site
control. Or, if Interconnection Customer so chooses, it may
submit an additional $10,000 deposit in lieu of site control
documentation.

system.

All generator data on the interconnection request form, including
machine MVA size, rated power factor, impedances and time
constants, etc.

Rated power factor of the generation facility.
Transformer Information
Number of Transformers
Transformers Size
Transformer Impedance
Winding Configuration
Collector Substation
Location of planned site (township and range or latitude and
longitude numbers), and approximate distance from the Point of
Interconnection.
Radial Interconnecting Line data
including distance and impedance (positive and zero sequence) of
line from generating facility substation step-up transformer to Point
of Interconnection. If there are multiple step-up transformers, and
they are separated by more than 500 ft, include distance and
impedance (positive and zero sequence) of the line that connects
the transformers.
System Impact Study Checklist
All of the required items for a feasibility study, plus the below.
Generator Data
all induction generator data on the interconnection request form,
including machine MVA size, rated power factor, impedances and
time constants, etc.
One line diagram
showing the distribution system, wind turbine feeders, wind turbine
locations, supplemental reactive compensation.
Distances and impedances of all segments
starting from low side of step-up transformer. If the collector
system step-up transformer winding configuration is wye grounded
on the high side and delta on the low side, then provide both
positive sequence impedances, including charging impedances.
OR, if the collector system step-up transformer winding
configuration is wye grounded on the high side and low side, with
a delta tertiary, then provide both positive and zero sequence
impedances, including charging.
Inverter Step-up

Dynamic Stability Study Model
A WECC approved standard model in Version 33.5 format

Commercial Operations Checklist
As Built Data
for distances and impedances of all segments – starting from low
side of step-up transformer. If the collector system step-up
transformer winding configuration is wye grounded on the high
