How does it work?
The 1800 Series adapter provides a simple
method of mounting an enclosed instrument
such as a box type cell phone, to an adapter
and mounting the complete assembly, as a
unit, into a ringless socket. The ringless
socket cover is placed over the empty meter
socket and the 1800 adapter is inserted in the
socket through the meter hole. The 3 latches
are extended behind the meter cover with the
screw latches. The complete assembly will be
securely held in place by the latches. The
latches may be sealed.

The Octopus adapter is a polyphase bottom connected adapter without a terminal block. The
concept is simple and has been around for 40 years or more. It was offered on A-Base single phase
adapters in the early 60’s. Marwell has simplified the concept and applied it to polyphase meters.
We modify a standard UL Listed 2200 by removing the terminal block and installing wires that will
be color coded and terminated to utility specification - making it unique to the application.
The finished Octopus should pay for itself in field labor time. It may be the first free adapter.

WARRANTY
Seller warrants that at the time of shipment the products sold hereunder are free from defects in material and workmanship, and will conform to seller’s applicable specifications. This product has a limited one year warranty, as
follows. If any defect within this warranty appears, Buyer shall notify Seller immediately. Seller agrees, at its sole
election, to repair, replace, or issue a credit in the amount of the unit contract price for any goods which, within one
year from date of shipment by Seller, shall, upon test and examination by Selller, prove defective within the above
warranty. No product will be accepted for return or replacement without prior written authorization of Seller. Upon
such authorization, the product may be returned with shipping charges prepaid by Buyer.
The warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, negligence, abnormal use, or any product which
has in any way been altered by anyone, other than an authorized representative of Seller.
The above warranties are given in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness of particular purpose or use. The remedies of Buyer shall be limited to those provided herein to the
exclusion of all other remedies including, without limitation, incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages.
In no event shall Seller’s liability for claim exceed the price of the product which gives rise to the claim.
