THE INSTITUTION
Sri Krishna College of Engineering and
Technology(SKCET) was established in the Golden
Jubilee year of Indian Independence 1998 with 180
students, 18 staff and 4 branches of B.E. In a span of 13
years it has grown in size and stature. Presently more
than 3000 students are studying in 6 branches of B.E./
B.Tech., 5 branches of M.E., MBA and MCA. The
College has a modern Library covering an area of
55,000 Sq.ft with international standards. The College
has a separate Placement and Training division and
maintains a good placement records. The college is one
among the best self financing Engineering colleges
imparting high quality of technical education in
TamilNadu.
THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computer Applications makes
every effort to enrich the knowledge of students
through value-based education. It also strives to be a
center of intellectual inspiration for the students and
staff members and the changing society and to grow
horizontally by rigorous research in diversified area by
faculty. The Department has a very good placement
record and our students have got placed in companies
like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Hcl etc.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Department of Computer Applications of Sri
Krishna College of Engineering and Technology is
organizing the Second National Conference on Recent
Trends in Advance Computing (NCRAC) during 4th
& 5th March 2016. The Two day programme will consist
of Paper presentation, expert invited talks and panel
discussion.
OBJECTIVES
The goal of NCRAC-2016 is to motivate and encourage
research and development activities in Computer
Applications. NCRAC- 2016 aims to bring together
researchers and scientists from academia and industry to
present new solutions in research directions in
innovative techniques and its applications.
