This specification describes component C. Use The Smart Lopo Module (SLM) serves the purpose of operating, regulating and controlling a single K-TRON SODER weigh feeder under the following conditions: - DC motor - Motor power 180 W max.; 180 to 200 V DC - Single point weighing system or weigh bridge The SLM was developed for the K2G and K-CL-24-KT20 weigh feeders without a separate agitator External operating panel with housing In addition, the control for a K-TRON Hurricane refill device is integrated. Installation The control module SLM is always installed in a housing at the feeder. The operating panel may either be placed in the same housing or in a separate housing which can be attached or builtin anywhere as desired. Up to a distance of 10 m it may be powered by the controller; in the case of distances up to 500 m by an external 24 V power supply. Given in the three figures are three possible configurations: - External housing with the operating panel - SLM with operating panel at a K2G feeder - SLM with operating panel at a K-CL-24-KT20 feeder SLM for K2G feeders with operating panel Programming The initial settings (equipment and process data) are entered into the controller only once during initial programming. All entries are made through the easy to operate key pad. The data may be displayed any time through the display.
