Kit Details
• Kits may be installed either right or left hand up
• Kits also install easily against a balcony or deck
• Typical assembly time for the standard kit is four to
six hours, using just a few simple tools
• To be assembled on site
Specification
• Diameters available: 3'6", 4'0", 4'6", 5'0", 5'6", 6'0", 6'6"
and 7'0"
-- Kits fit into a square well opening 2” larger than
the stair diameter
-- Round well opening option is available
• Standard kits fit floor-to-floor heights from 8'0" to
10' 3-1/2", and are furnished with 11, 12, or 13 risers
-- Kits for other floor-to-floor heights are available
on special order
• All steel construction, primed painted black, with
polyethylene handrail (ships coiled); also available in
aluminum, hot dipped galvanized or powder coated
finishes
• Heavy 12 gauge steel treads and landing each
welded to a 4" round collar that slides precisely over
the 3-1/2" diameter center pole
• 10" x 1/4" thick round metal base plate with
pre‑drilled holes for bolting to floor
• Railing spindles and landing railing are 3/4" square
steel tube; spindles have an adjustable cup shape
fitting to receive the handrail
• Treads and landing are pre-drilled to receive
hardwood covering or underlayment for carpeting

experience. Simply watch the instructional DVD then follow the clear, step-by-step instructions and within a few hours
admire your completed spiral stair. Complete printed instructions included with your kit detail each step.

Standard Kits
Standard kits include a centre pole, round base flange, appropriate number of 22.5˚ treads (5'0", 5'6", 6'0", 6'6" and
7'0" kits) or 30˚ treads (3'6", 4'0" and 4'6" kits), 90˚ landing, landing railing, one rail spindle per riser (plus starting
spindle base plate), coil of 1-1/4" round vinyl handrail, vinyl pole cap, all hardware required for assembly, complete
instruction booklet and installation video. Steel parts are primed black.
Note: The 6'6" and 7'0" diameter kits come with triple in-between spindles and a 1-1/4" round aluminum tube
handrail coil.

Multi-Story Connection
Permits the joining of two or more spiral stair kits to
span more than one level.
Special Shaped Landing
Required for some multi-story installations, for
non‑standard well openings, or to alter the normal
starting position of the stair.*
CUSTOM MADE WELL RAILS
Railings custom made to fit your well opening
measurements are also available.* All railings fabricated
from 3/4" x 3/4" steel tubing. Spaces between spindles
are less than 4". Overall height is 36" to top of rail. Posts
are 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" steel tubing.

Warranty
The manufacturer warrants all metal spiral stair
kits against defective material and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from the date of
delivery. The manufacturer will replace any
damaged or defective part that is returned to
us with prior authorization during this period at
no cost. This warranty is void if the kit was not
installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s
installation procedures, or if the stair kit has
been abused or not maintained properly by the
customer.
