THE MAIN EMPHASIS WILL BE ON THE TURKISH LANGUAGE, ESPECIALLY ON ORAL COMMUNICATION . IT IS IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN HOW TO EXPRESS AND UNDERSTAND SIMPLE TURKISH AND HOW TO USE TURKISH IN THE MOST ORDINARY COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE USAGE SITUATIONS. STUDENTS WILL BE TAUGHT THE BASIC STRUCTURE OF TURKISH, THE CENTRAL VOCABULARY AND SOME CONVERSATION, READING AND WRITING SKILLS. WINTER EILC, ON THE OTHER HAND, WILL INCLUDE VISITS TO CASTLES AND MUSEUMS, WALKING TOURS DOWNTOWN AND OLD PARTS OF ANKARA, TRIPS TO VARIOUS TOWNS OF ANKARA AND NEARBY CITIES (POLATLI, BEYPAZARI, ELMADAG ETC) .
