Sub:- Tender for supply & installation of 3 KVA and 5 KVA online UPS along with batteries
We invite your quotations for supply and installation of UPS(5KVA/3KVA) online
PWM/IGBT based UPS systems along with batteries (SMF/TUBULAR) for our branches
/offices in Ghazipur District in the state of Uttar Pradesh as per specification given in
annexure 1,annexure 2 and annexure 3.The number of UPS and batteries will depend on
our requirement. Kindly submit us your best offer as per the specification given in the
annexure 2 and annexure 3. Please indicate separate price for UPS and batteries as per
following category and also quote no. of batteries and AH rating of batteries with
calculation.

You are requested to send your quotations giving complete specifications as per
enclosed ormat along with your terms and conditions, giving commercial details as
under:1. Warranty period should be minimum 3 years for UPS
2. Delivery period should be within 2 weeks.
3. Payment terms-90% after successful installation and 10% on submission of Bank
guarantee for the remaining amount for warranty period or after the expiry of
warranty period.
4. Validity of quotes should be minimum 6 months.
5. Minimum AH for a battery-100AH.
Types of batteries: Quote rates for SMF/TUBULAR type of batteries of Exide. The quote
with any other battery make will not be considered. Please quote rates for SMF and
TUBULAR type of batteries separately.
1. Backup Time: 4 Hours
2. VAH required-12600 VAH for 3 KVA UPS and 21000 VAH for 5 KVA UPS
The UPS are to be installed at the sites within two weeks time after placing order.
The last date of receiving quotations in sealed cover at this office is 24.08.2013 by 3:00
p.m. Quotations/Tenders received after this time period will not be considered. Kindly
mark “Quotations for UPS and Batteries” at the top of the envelope covering the
commercial and technical quotations. The tender will be opened on 26/08/2013 at 3:00
p.m at Regional Office, Ghazipur in presence of tender committee members and
contractors, if available. The interested parties/vendors have to submit the tender
paper/rate quotation on or before 24/08/2013 at

Bank reserves the right to cancel any or all the tenders without giving any
notice/information to you.
Other specification will be as per Annexure 1 specification for 3 KVA & 5 KVA UPS along
with the batteries.

Terms and conditions:
1. The vendor must have service support at Ghazipur to cater to the needs of
immediate support. The vendor should provide the contact no. of Engineers
available at their Service Center.
2. The offer will be valid for a minimum period of 180 days from the date of offer
and may be extended as till new tender or further instruction of the competent
authority .
3. The rates quoted should be inclusive of at least 3 years on-site comprehensive
warranty on UPS and Batteries or the standard warranty offered by the
manufacturer of batteries, whichever is more with all duties, taxes, freight,
insurance etc.
4. The delivery should be within 2 weeks from the date of order.
5. Product brochures for UPS and Batteries offered should be submitted along with
the quotations. Only relevant literature pertaining to the offer should be
submitted.
6. The vendor should submit an undertaking to maintain the systems for a minimum
period of 5 years including 3 years warranty. The AMC charges will be payable on
quarterly basis. Vendors should quote the annual AMC charges for UPS system.
7. The payment terms are 90% on successful installation on site and 10% against Bank
Guarantee for the equivalent amount valid for the warranty period or expiry of
the warranty period.
8. The Bank reserves the right to reject any/all quotations without assigning any
reason.
The technical and commercial offer should be in two separate envelops duly marked
Technical offer for 5 KVA, 3 KVA UPS along with the Batteries and Commercial offer for
5 KVA, 3 KVA UPS along with the Batteries. The technical specifications and related
brochures along with your Best Commercial offer should reach us on or before 24th
August, 2013 by 3:00 p.m. The quotations will be opened on 26th August, 2013 at 3:00
p.m. Participating Vendors are requested to remain present during the opening of
tenders/quotations.
