EXH I B ITION B R I E F
The inaugural RSL-SA Art Exhibition encourages and promotes the freedom of expression
through visual arts, resulting in an intimate portfolio of creativity. “Ripples of Reflection” is an
emotional and provocative journey of self-discovery, through the eyes of emerging and
professional artists. Tangible statements of emotions, thoughts and ideas will be formed resulting
in the final stage of articulated artistic communication. The “fallout” or “ripple effect” of one’s
awareness, and effect on those around us, can be interpreted differently by families, friends and
support networks. A fusion of all defence experience perspectives will be illustrated by art at
this poignant exhibition. Veterans, families and current ADF members are encouraged to register
their work for the exhibition that will be exhibited in the Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Ground, from
October 22 – 30 during Veterans Health Week.
