Nonresident Fees
Fair Play in Community Sports
Participants who live outside of Issaquah’s city limits can
expect to pay about 20 percent more than residents for certain
parks and recreation programs.
The City of Issaquah complies with the State of Washington’s
Fair Play in Community Sports Act (Chapter 467, 2009 Laws,
effective date July 26, 2009) that prohibits discrimination
against any person in a community athletics program on the
basis of sex.
The nonresident rate ensures that families living outside of
Issaquah contribute to services on an equal basis with
residents who pay City taxes.

cardio, toning and stretching. Some of our

always be the option to perform the whole
class in a chair if that is what works best
for you. It’s a “build-your-own-class” kind
of program, where modification is the key!
