The EOL-32 is capable of monitoring a total of 32 end-ofline resistor, supervised alarm points with line resistance of
up to 7,000 Ohms. It provides the conversion of an analog
alarm signal into the proper format to be processed by the
System 3505.
A ribbon cable of up to 25 feet connects the first EOL-32
with the System 3505. The System 3505 can
accommodate up to 15 additional EOL-32 interfaces, for a
total of 512 alarm points. The second EOL-32 is connected
to the first via a six-inch ribbon cable. The third EOL-32 is
connected to the second, and so on, up to 16 in a daisychain for a total of 512 inputs.
The EOL-32 can be used in a chain of interfaces
consisting of all EOLs or mixed with Reversed Polarity or
Dry Contact inputs in groups of 32 zones. The EOL-32
interface can be ordered with 60 Hz filters. The EOL-32F
is recommended for installations where the alarm lines
travel via telephone company lines or over distances
where induced AC is greater that 2 volts peak to peak.
Power to the EOL zone is provided by the System 3505.
The EOL-32 boards are set for pulsed power, therefore
only one EOL-32 has power to the zones at any one time.
Up to 64 EOL-32 boards can be connected. The board is
set for continuous power with EOL-32F units..
The EOL-32 and EOL-32F can be ordered with a range of
end-of-line resistor values.
The EOL-32 requires the purchase and installation of the
Direct Wire Option (P/N 010001-0055) in the System 3505.
This Direct Wire Option will provide direct wire capability of
up to 512 zones. Each additional 512 Zone capacity
requires and additional Direct Wire Option (P/N 0100010055).
