THE PARTNERSHIP
Eric Sturdza, the bank’s president, was ranked one of the top 10 players in Switzerland during his former career
as a professional tennis player, while his brother Dimitri Sturdza is a former multiple Swiss tennis champion and
captain of the Davis Cup in 1992 and 1993.
The family’s long association with the world of tennis has lead to several other partnerships over the years, including the
bank’s support to several tennis stars including Stan Wawrinka et Simona Halep.
The Geneva Open is part of the ATP World Tour 250, the newest series of tournaments by the Association of
Tennis Professionals (ATP).
