All the information given in this map and the Public Transport Guides is given in good faith. Every care was taken when compiling the information, but neither Perth & Kinross Council or FWT can take responsibility for any
omissions or errors. Please bear in mind that bus services are subject to change. Do not hesitate to contact the relevant bus operator or Perth and Kinross Council if you wish to clarify details of any bus service.
There are a number of less frequent bus services (e.g. some school buses) that have been omitted from the map.
Ticketing
Day return tickets are available on most rural bus services and are
cheaper than buying two single journey tickets. Ten journey tickets and
commuter cards are also available for many services and will offer
regular travellers a considerable saving. For availability of Day Rover
tickets please contact the relevant bus operator
Public & School Holidays
Traditionally on 25/26 December and on 01 January no local bus
services operate. On 02 January service levels are often reduced and
some operators do not operate any buses. Details on what will operate
can be obtained from the relevant bus operator or from the Council’s
Public Transport Unit.
On other public holidays during the year, the majority of bus services will
operate a normal timetable. Any proposed changes should be advertised
on the bus, alternatively contact the relevant operator prior to travel.
Schoolday only bus services will only operate during school term times.
Perth & Kinross Council schools have the following term dates:
Summer Term – Wednesday 23 April 2014 to Thursday 26 June 2014
Autumn Term – Tuesday 19 August 2014 to Friday 10 October 2014
Winter Term – Monday 27 October 2014 to Friday 19 December 2014
Spring Term – Monday 5 January 2014 to Thursday 2 April 2014
