Current Situation
 Academic Year 2014-15:
– New Jersey schools will start administering online assessments
to students statewide
 By 2019:
– Some experts estimate that half of all high school courses
nationwide will be delivered online*
 Some New Jersey schools are not ready!
– According to the latest reported estimates:
• Half lack sufficient broadband for online assessments
• Many more lack sufficient broadband for digital learning
