Power Transfer Load Center Featuring an Upgradeable Transfer Switch (Manual to Automatic)
The Series MA Power Transfer Load Center (PTLC),
manufactured for Intersect by ASCO® Power Technologies, is a family of integrated load centers that provides the
flexibility to easily upgrade the manual transfer switch to an
automatic transfer switch as site demands evolve.
Series MA panels safeguard critical loads from transients
and load transfer spikes using Strikesorb® surge suppression. Independent test data confirms that 40 mm
Strikesorb suppression modules can withstand 100 kA
(8 x 20 µs) strikes with 0% change in clamping voltage.
These high-performance modules outperform traditional
protection, providing multi-strike resistance with a 20+
year service life.
Featuring an ASCO manual transfer switch, Series MA
PTLCs can be retrofitted with an automatic transfer switch
as needs change. It’s as simple as ordering the upgrade
package. ASCO-certified technicians perform the changeout in the field, reinstating the one year manufacturer’s
warranty on the panel and the ATS. UL Listings remain
intact.
Series MA panels support a variety of single- and threephase service voltages and can be housed in NEMA 1 or
NEMA 3R enclosures.
