After­School All­Stars Registration Form
Please complete a Registration Form for each child you intend to enroll in the ASAS program.
Registration for classes beginning December 2nd are due on or before November 26, 2013.
Registration for classes beginning January 13th are due on or before December 13, 2013.
You may sign up for as many courses as desired. In order to prevent schedule conflicts, please be mindful of course
start and end times, as well as course start and end dates.
Attendance is mandatory. All ASAS courses require a strict attendance policy. More than two absences during the
course of the program may cause your child(ren) to be dropped from the course OR may cause the course as a whole
to be dropped from the program. If your child(ren) must be absent, please be sure to inform the instructor or the ASAS
Coordinator (Ms Clancy) in writing.

As parent/legal guardian for the student named above, I hereby give my child permission to participate in the
After­School All­Stars (ASAS) program. I understand that transportation home will NOT be provided. I also recognize
that my child is responsible for appropriate behavior and language while participating in the ASAS program. In the
event that my child is injured and I or the below listed emergency contact cannot be reached, I give my permission for
Bell School to seek medical treatment on my behalf and henceforth give permission to the attending physician to
render such treatment as would be reasonable and necessary. I agree to pay the reasonable and necessary fees for
said treatment.
I hereby release the Alexander Graham Bell School and its employees and volunteers for any and all claims for
personal injury and/or property damage that may arise from or be in any way connected to the named child’s
participation in this activity. I understand that this release applies to both present and future injuries. I sign voluntarily

After­School All­Stars 2013­2014
Bell School is excited to offer the After­School All­Stars (ASAS) program for the 2013­2014 school year. ASAS offers fun
and engaging academic, enrichment and wellness activities for students outside of the school day. Activities are
offered before­ and after­school and are FREE to all families.
Based on data collected from the survey provided during Parent­Teacher Conferences on November 12th, Bell School
is pleased to offer a variety of programs this school year. In order to provide the highest quality instruction, some
programs have equipment requirements and/or a student maximum limit. Students interested in these programs will
be accepted on a first­come, first­served basis… so sign­up soon!

Digital Photography

Grades 7­8
Take your photographs to the next level by exploring the basics of exposure, composition and digital
processing. Participants will practice shooting photographs and then learn how to use Photoshop Elements to
edit, enhance and ultimately print their best images.
● This course requires each participant to provide his/her own digital camera. A DSLR is preferred but
not mandatory. Camera phones are NOT acceptable. A tripod is also recommended.
● This course has a maximum student limit. Students will be accepted on a first­come, first­served
basis.

Develop healthy outlets and positive coping strategies for stress, anxiety and anger through the use of yoga poses and

In this electronic­age, it is easy to forget the sense of accomplishment and joy that comes from hand­crafting a project
from start to finish. Students will develop cognitive abilities, attentiveness and fine­motor coordination through the
simple art of sewing, quilting and crafting. Yes, this is your “grandmother’s crafts”!
