Use this form to ESTIMATE the shipping cost which you will pay for your shipment.
WRITE TOTAL COST ON THE SEA CONTAINER SHIPMENT FORM (which is a separate form).
PLEASE RETAIN A COPY OF THIS WORKSHEET. Our coordinator will check your estimate.
(You can attach your own worksheet or breakdown if you wish. / Your funds help us with Customs & unloading costs also.)
OUR SHIPPING RATE IS $6.00 PER CUBIC FOOT.
There are 4 possible ways to estimate total cost--pick one. You don’t have to measure every single box/item.
You can simply stack your boxes together evenly, as if they were stacked on a pallet. Then measure the stacked
group for length, width, & height in either FEET (way #1 is easier) or INCHES (way #2) and use a formula below.
*(1) (a) MULTIPLY (IN FEET) LENGTH times WIDTH times HEIGHT = CUBIC FEET
(b) MULTIPLY THE TOTAL CUBIC FEET BY RATE LISTED ABOVE = YOUR TOTAL SHIPPING COST
(2) (a) MULTIPLY (IN INCHES) LENGTH times WIDTH times HEIGHT = CUBIC INCHES (write in box below)
(b) DIVIDE THE CUBIC INCHES BY 1,728 ( number of cubic inches to a cubic foot ) = CUBIC FEET
(c) MULTIPLY THE CUBIC FEET BY RATE LISTED ABOVE = YOUR TOTAL SHIPPING COST
