Generation 2.5 Firefly desk lamps have improved lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries that last up to 1000 cycles. Depending on usage, these new batteries will last 3 times longer than the Barefoot Power Generation 2.0 nickel cadmium (NiCd) or between 3 to 5 years.

Generation 2.5 Firefly™ desk lamps and PowaPack™ matrix lights have improved LED technology. Compared to
Generation 2.0 LEDs, the SMD LEDs are brighter and last twice as long. The Firefly Mobile desk lamp output is over 50 lumens!
