FIFA 15 ULTIMATE TEAM™ ‐ FIFA Ultimate Team Challenge Competition Terms and Conditions 1. General The opening time and date of the contest is 02/01/2015 at 15:00 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is 02/02/2015 at 23:59 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered. 2. Restrictions 1. This competition is open to UK residents age thirteen (13) and over only. Entrants who are residents of the UK and Ireland under the age of thirteen (13) require parental consent to enter the contest as required by their local legislation. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter. Subject to all applicable laws and regulations. 3. Rules to participate No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this competition. Entrants must create an Ultimate Team within the Best of the Best website http://www.easports.com/uk/fifa/ultimateteamchallenge and submit using the online form, along with their email address, team they support in their local, top tier league and telephone number (optional). Entrants must select their home team from the Barclays Premier League. The winner will be the entrant whose Ultimate Team matches, the eleven (11) players picked by the celebrity. The winner will receive two (2) tickets to watch their specified home team play. In the event of a tie entrants will be entered into a sweepstake and one (1) winner will be drawn at random. In the event that no entrant guesses all eleven (11) players in the Celebrity’s team, the required number of player matches will drop, until a winner is identified. Each entrant may enter the Contest multiple times during the Contest Period. Submissions generated by script, macro or other automated means are void. Contest will be judged by two (2) judges. Judges’ will base their decision on the listed criteria. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 4. Prize(s) In total there will be one (1) winner who will receive two (2) tickets to watch their home team (as indicated on the entry form) play. Reasonable travel costs will be covered by EA. EA recommends that the winner obtains suitable insurance before travelling. There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non‐transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Any taxes due on the prize will be paid by the winner. 5. Results The winner will be contacted by email on 22/02/2015. If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants. A full list of who won will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of winners. This list can be obtained by writing to Best of the Best, Electronic Arts, Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN If proof of age and/or parental consent is requested, and if satisfactory proof of age and/or parental consent is not received, EA reserves the rights to choose another winner. 6. General Conditions Any entry, which does not comply with the rules, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. EA is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery. Any participant who enters or attempts to enter the competition in a manner, which in Promoter’s determination is contrary to these rules or by its nature is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants including without limitation tampering with the operation of the competition, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Promoter and/or any of its agents or representatives, or who submits an illegible or incomplete entry may be rejected from the competition at Promoter’s sole discretion. By submitting your material to EA, you represent and warrant that your submission (a) is your own and original creation and does not violate or infringe the rights of any third party, including without limitation, copyrights, trademarks or trade dress, patents, or rights of publicity/privacy; (b) is not defamatory, obscene, offensive or indecent; and (c) and has not been previously published or submitted to other parties or websites. By submitting your material to EA, you also acknowledge that your material is not confidential or proprietary. Our review of your material does not imply that we will use, develop or publish your material. Nor does our review of your material prevent us from using, developing, publishing or marketing ideas or products that may be similar to your material. Once you submit any material to EA, you expressly authorise EA to have a worldwide, complete, exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable right to quote, re‐post, use, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, broadcast, and otherwise communicate, and publicly display and perform the material in any form, anywhere, without attribution to you, and without notice or compensation to you of any kind. If we decide to use, develop or publish your material, you agree to take any further steps reasonably required by EA (and at EA’s cost) to enforce and protect our rights to your material. Assignment of Rights is a condition of claiming the prize(s). Entrants agree that their names and/or likeness may be used to announce the winner via Facebook, Twitter, Press Release, on EA websites and be included on the winners list as mentioned in section 5 above. For the U.K. only entrants may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness. 7. Data protection In order to participate in the competition participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information and provides for an appropriate data protection level. Personal information includes name, address, email address, telephone number, favourite football team and birthday. Entrants have the right to access, withdraw, and correct their personal data. Entrants may request such action by sending a message with the request, subject line Best of the Best to EMEAStrategicMarketingCoreTeam@ea.com. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material. Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in these rules or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond reasonable control of Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the competition.
