Attach 1/2” conduit to back plate with third party threaded

connector.

Remove ballast cover and ballast from back plate.
Attach back plate to drywall using enclosed screws.
Re-attach ballast.
Use provided clear rubber O-rings to join cable and cord
together. Mount cable holders at appropriate length,
with provided screws. Insert cable ends into gripper and
screw gripper into cable holder. Use side exit opening in
gripper holder for cable. Adjust cable length to desired
position. Snip off excess cable, leaving 1” of cable extending
out of the exit opening.

Insert lamp cord into end of ballast holder and adjust

length. Strip wire ends to 1/4” and insert into push button
connectors on ballast (red to red, black to blue) and screw
down ground wire to ground terminal on back plate.
Connect power to ballast and ground with cage clamp
connectors provided. Use up to 14 AWG maximum.
Snap off wireway knockout on one end of ballast cover for
lamp cord and attach to back plate.

Slip socket covers over lamp and insert proper T5 lamp into
socket, lock into place with a half turn. Slide socket covers
back into position.
