Warranty
Before using any nozzle or tool, read carefully
this catalog and product instructions, in order to be
aware of nozzle performance.
Salotech International B.V. warrants the products for
its manufacture, free of material and workmanship
defects for one year from the date of shipment, provided
that they have been properly maintained and operated.
Optimize nozzle performance!
When ordering nozzles, let us know pump parameters
(flow and pressure) and hose information (size, type
and length): orifice size is calculated on the base
of these data (see chart at page 6). Keep always
in mind that using nozzles with different pump
parameters may bring un-expected performances.
Do not exceed the maximum working pressure.
Warning
High pressure water-jets may cause personal injuries
and damages. Strictly follow the instructions and
regulations of your national law. Nozzles must work
only inside the pipe. We recommend that the nozzle
be exposed to gradual system pressure only after it
has been set and secured inside the pipe, far away
from the operator. Salotech is not responsible
for situations resulting from the improper use of this
tool and for different operation from that it has been
designed and intended for.

Maintenance
Check your nozzles every times, before and after
using, controlling the conditions. If orifices are as
large or larger than the next size, nozzle or inserts
must be replaced. Keep orifices clean with the tip
cleaning set. Lubricate rotating parts with WD40 spray.
Hose protection
For safety reasons, use hose protection guides.
They reduce friction against edge and reduce
hose-bursting risk.

Working pressure
For milling, propeller, chain and vibrating nozzles (Avian, Julia, Barcis, Cimolais, Wamax, RDS-V,
Rumax) working pressure must not exceed 150 bar. Higher working pressure does not bring any
positive effect and may reduce nozzle life expectancy.
For other nozzles pressure level has to be selected in relation to pipe conditions and sedimentation.
For limestone, industrial silts, hard sedimentations, higher the pressure, faster they will be removed.
For general cleaning, grease and sand removal, working pressure should stand at 150 bar.
Orifice and inserts
Salotech drilled nozzles are marked with:
- inlet size (inch)
- nr x orifice size (mm).
Ceramic inserts provide quality water jets, making the nozzle more
effective in cleaning action. They can be easily removed from the nozzle
for cleaning and replacement.

This device to be installed at the end of the suction pipe is based on the
“Venturi” principle, that allows to suck liquid substances, mud as well as
stones from depths between 10 and 18 meters. The suction depth varies
in relation to the liquid density and the pressure of the water driven inside
the device. A Venturi mud-sucker of intermediate size, to be used at mid
column, is also available. The type 5100.00 (Jet Vac) attaches to any
portable water jetter to quickly move (vacuum) liquid and debris from
flooded basements, sumps, swimming pools, construction sites,
car wash pits etc.
