Certification Mark and the goodwill associated with and symbolised by it and owns any copyright subsisting in the Certfication Mark. Where any such
copyright is Crown copyright I acknowledge, that the SOS holds the copyright on behalf of the Crown. I also acknowledge I have no right to or interests in the
mark except in this agreement.

Benchmark Certification Ltd holds certain personal details about Applicants and Registered and Certificated Installers (and their employees) and operatives
in a form that is subject to the Data Protection Act 1988 (Personal Data). Benchmark Certification Ltd may use the Personal Data (other than Sensitive Personal
Data) for the purposes it has notified to the Data Protection Registrar/Commissioner. Which
include:
The maintenance of the Membership Registers
Work planning and management
Marketing and selling (including direct marketing to individuals)
Public relations and external affairs
Purchaser/supplier administration
Ancillary and support functions
Customer/client administration
Benchmark Certification Ltd will only use Sensitive Personal Data for the purposes of the maintenance of the Membership Register and customer/client

I will update any changes in my business relating to my memberships within 5 working days to Benchmark. This may include, but is not limited to, change of
control, responsible person, additional operatives, contact details and scope of work.
By signing this statement you agree to be bound by the information supplied on this form and any information withheld or incorrect may invalidate your
membership.
Your business can provide evidence of training and or experience for all operatives carrying out installation work.
I confirm that I/my operative(s) have access to relevant technical reference documents and to calibrated/certificated test equipment (where necessary).
My business has a system which can be inspected, covering appropriate certification and reporting of the work undertaken by the business and identifies
responsibilities within the business for the safety, quality and standards of the work.
I confirm that we have a written Health & Safety Policy statement if required by law (for businesses with 5 or more employees)
I agree with the scheme rules understand my right to appeal.
I confirm, that by joining Benchmark’s Competent Person Scheme I will inform Benchmark of all notifiable work carried out through the notifications portal ,

Any refund applied for before the application is processed is at the discretion of Benchmark and will incur a £50 application fee.
