CIFA truck mixers are designed in Senago, Milan,
Italy and manufactured in Castiglione delle Stiviere,
Mantua, Italy. These facilities can produce up to 3.000
truck mixers per year. Thanks to the high efficiency of
the manufacturing process, CIFA has made and sold
more than 56.000 truck mixers up to now.

SAFETY AND
BALANCED LOADS
DISTRIBUTION
Thanks to the low
center of gravity of the
mixer truck, there is a
better balanced load
distribution which
allows for much better
driving stability.
BLADE DESIGN
Due to the optimal
position and
dimension of the
spiral blades in
the drum, large
mixing capacity
and quick output is
accomplished. There
are large exit blades
for high volume
loading and special
wear resistant blades
for high concrete
content and durability.
ANTI-REBOUND
SYSTEM
The anti-rebound
system, installed in all
truck mixers, keeps
the drum in the right
position on the main
structure during the
transport phase.
This is extremely
useful when traversing
roads with holes and
pocketed surfaces.
ANCHORINGS
Counter-frame
and supports are
completely calculated
by “Finite Element
Analysis” (FEM). The
rear anchoring are
fixed type while front
anchoring are flexible
type.
ERGONOMIC, EASY
An installed rear
plastic carter
protects the rear
part of the machine
from concrete and
allows for simple
maintenance.
ROLLERS
Specific roller
sizes are designed
for different drum
dimensions to ensure
proper support. Bolts
are used for easy
maintenance and
adjustments.
DRUM SAFETY
STOP
A safety drum stop
when performing
special maintenance
helps eliminate safety
hazards.
REAR SUPPORT
A special rear support
design frame allows
for charging and
discharging the hopper
and chute for fast and
smooth operation.
Components are

DRUM AND BLADES
The drum is designed according to international
specifications and rule DIN 459. Special high
resistant steel (30MnB5) is used in drum and blades
with different thickness from three (3) to seven (7)
millimeters. Chrome, manganese and boron prevent
concrete wear and action resistance.

REAR ERGONOMIC
Rear ergonomic and protected controls are
used to check the mixer when working with
the CSD (Constant Speed Drive)
CONTROL PANEL IN THE CAB
A second control panel is situated in the cab
to monitor and check the CSD (Constant
Speed Drive) drum function during road
transfer.
SPECIAL LIGHT COMPONENTS
Plastic mudguards with a light steel core,
light chutes with plastic material are
completely weather resistant that allow for
quick and easy cleaning.
DISCHARGING CHUTE
The hot galvanized discharging chute is
hydraulically driven by a manual pump. The
available lifting system is driven by a manual
cylinder.
FLEXIBLE CABLE CONTROL
The SL series is also available with drum
control through flexible cable (Basic Version)
instead of the electronic CSD (Constant
Speed Drive) control.
ENGINE CONTROL PANEL
The Engine Control Panel (ECP) controls
the functions of the separate engine on
SLA versions. It is fitted with emergency
lights in order to monitor all functions and at
the same time allows for simple and quick
maintenance.

EXTRA LIGHT KIT
The Extra Light Kit is installed in order to decrease
the total weight of the truck mixer; it includes special
aluminum components, such as 300 liters pressurized
water tank, mudguards, ladder and two additional chutes.

EXTERNAL CONTROL PANEL
The external control panel with
a 3 m cable is placed in the mixer
backside to manage the CSD
(Constant Speed Drive) during
operation.
DRUM AND BLADES
The drum is composed of a steel plate with
different thickness from three (3) to seven (7)
millimeters. SLX Series have the drum and
blades made of special light and resistant
450 HB steel.
