is the BRE Global LPS1175 test which
considers all aspects of the product for
potential attack, using different methods
of attack with a variety of tools.

be granted individual access privileges.
Adams Rite offer our customers a
comprehensive range of access control
products to both meet their needs and

For existing access control systems,
our electric strikes and magnetic locks
enable remote access and exit control
of aluminium, timber or steel doors.
Manufactured to the highest quality
to meet the all the required British
Standards, all our products are designed

and premises to ensure a safe and reliable means of exit, especially in the
event of any potential emergency.
The Adams Rite range of exit hardware
is designed to cover any eventuality
where people need to exit your
premises easily and safely, both in the
normal course of business and during
an emergency or panic situation.
For situations where people are
familiar with the emergency exit and
it’s hardware the 4591 Paddle Handle
offers a superb and reliable solution,
conforming to BS EN 179 (where a panic
situation is most unlikely to develop).
Central to our exit hardware solutions
range is the 900 series Touchbar
(complying with the BS EN 1125
standard for Panic Exit Devices) which
perfectly complements the 960 series
Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device
for commercial aluminium door
applications requiring panic egress
and security.
Our comprehensive range of hardware
also includes mortice mounted
deadlatch exit devices for both
aluminium and timber doors, Ramp Jaw
Strikes, Latch Pulls and Entry Trims
designed to work with our other main
locking and exit hardware.
The BS EN 1125 Standard places
emphasis on doorways where there is
necessity for a safe and effective escape
route in a panic situation without prior
knowledge of the exit device operation.

We have a strong track record in
product innovation and design. We are
one of the very few manufacturers to
have their own UKAS accredited testing
facilities in the UK. Our products are
laboratory tested before they go into
production to ensure they are
compliant with all the appropriate
British Standards.
We also test our products substantially
beyond the required parameters
(typically for one million cycles against a
required 200,000 cycles) and specifically
check their through life performance.
