The Engineering department is responsible for the development and testing of all products within the Lawn and
Garden range.
Areas of study will include:
1.
Designing Electronic Circuits.
Complying with statutory regulations and organizational safety requirements
Using and interpreting engineering drawings and documents
Working efficiently and effectively in engineering
Designing electronic circuit board layouts using
CAD tools
Evaluating and recommending circuit design options
Providing technical guidance to others
2.
Engineering Practices
Producing electrical or electronic engineering drawings using a CAD system
Assembling and testing electronic circuits
Maintaining electronic equipment/systems
3.
Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Assembling and checking printed & allied electronic circuits
Testing post production electronic components and circuits.
Locating and diagnosing faults in post-production electronic components and circuits
4. Any other task deemed appropriate by the Senior
Engineer and within capabilities of the job holder.
Your profile: You will:
Be educated to a minimum of GCSE with A-C grades in Maths, Science and English
Possess good written and oral communications skills.
Have knowledge of MS-Office, in particular Word,
Excel, Power point
Have access to transport to enable to attend both work and college
Be a conscientious worker
Possess good organizational skills
Be a team player
Be able to use own initiative & have a proactive approach to tasks
Motivated & willing to learn
