*PER TEAM
THE TENANTS
Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex is the Spring
Training and Player Development
home of the Cleveland Indians in
2009 and the Cincinnati Reds beginning in 2010. The teams have
20 year lease agreements, which
include year-round use of their
clubhouses, pitching mounds,
batting cages and tunnels as well
as observation towers. Each
team also has exclusive yearround use of two Major League
size practice fields, one agility
field and two infields.
During Spring Training season,
which runs mid-February through
the month of March, each team
will have full use of all six full size
practice fields. The rest of the
year, the teams will have a yearround presence, using the facilities for player development and
rehabilitation.
2009 marks the return of the
Tribe to Arizona, with its move
from Winter Haven, Florida. The
Indians had previously trained in
Arizona from 1947 to 1992.
In 2010, the Cincinnati Reds will
relocate their Spring Training operations from the team’s home in
Sarasota, Florida. This is the
team’s first move to the Cactus
League, after more than 80 years
of Spring Training in Florida.
IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES...
While it may look like just a baseball facility, the Goodyear Ballpark
and Recreational Complex was designed with much more in mind. In
addition to Spring Training baseball,
the facility will host year-round community signature events such as
youth, amateur, high school and
college tournaments, along with
holiday festivals, arts and craft
shows, concerts, weddings and
other private and public events.
Let us make your next function a
Big League event. From on-the-field
interactive activities such as games,
batting practice and contests, to indoor and outdoor meeting spaces,
this state-of-the-art venue is the perfect place to create a distinctly
unique experience.
EVENT LOCATIONS:
The Terrace, located on the
rooftop behind home plate, can
accommodate up to 90 people
through a variety of seating and has
some of the best views of the ballpark.
I
The Right Field Pavilion is a permanent deck with private bar and
rest rooms, located on the outfield
berm. The area can accommodate
up to 500 people and is a great
place to host an event during Spring
Training as well as the off-season.
I
Luxury suites accommodate up
to 15 people, or may be combined
for a larger gathering.
I
The first and third base concourses are blank canvases, with
large, grassy areas that are perfect
places for larger events, with lots of
room to relax.
I
Festival Way, the street adjacent
to the first base concourse, is the
perfect place for a block party or
outdoor concert. Events that take
place on Festival Way may have
access to the Ballpark amenities, including concessions and rest rooms.
I
