1. DURATION
Trimester (if the student has good math’s results or has done it before)
Six months (for a student without good background in Mathematics)
2. MODES OF INSTRUCTION
Distance and conventional learning: students can choose to either attend on a Full-time or
part-time basis or enroll in a mentor study system.
Part-time programmes can be offered during evenings or on weekends.
3. EXAMINATIONS
External summative assessments are written at the end of each trimester.
Practical examinations: After completion of Unit Standards/level.
A minimum pass requirement for all engineering Studies subjects is 40%.
4. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
a. A grade 9 Report with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Sciences; or
b. an introductory programme as determined by a technical college; or
c. An equivalent qualification.
