Common Specification Each Processing Node.
Capacities.
A Callisto IES processing node is equipped to meet various applications by plugging in cassettes from a modular library.
Serial Communication Interfaces.
Two positions for plug-in cassettes in any combination of:
•2 ports with isolated RS232/RS485 (selectable) communication.
AC Analogue Inputs.
Three positions for plug-in cassettes in any combination of:
•3 AC current inputs CT at 1 A or 5 A with 20 times full load operation.
• 3 AC voltage inputs at 69Vrms to 150Vrms or 240Vrms to
318Vrms operation
• low voltage inputs for line post sensors and clamp-on CT’s.
DC Inputs/Outputs.
Two cassette positions for 8 digital inputs configurable for binary or ternary status, alarm or pulse accumulator plus five positions for plug-in cassettes in any combination for:
•8 digital inputs configurable for binary or ternary status, alarm or pulse accumulator.
•2 trip/close command pairs with secure select-check-execute.
•6 direct operate latchable command outputs.
•4 DC instrumentation level analogue inputs.
•2 DC instrumentation level set point outputs.
Power.
Plug-in cassette with RJ45 serial port connection for diagnostics and system configuration. Cassette options for the following operating ranges:
•18 - 60V DC (non-isolated)
•9 - 36V DC (isolated)
•18 - 75V DC (isolated)
•50 - 150V DC (isolated)
An AC input with external intelligent battery charger and simultaneous support of 12V and 24V batteries as commonly required for operation of integral radio and distribution plant.
Dimensions
Real-Time Clock Accuracy
•100 ppm (standard), drift up to 8.64s per day without external time refresh.
•0.4 ppm (optional), drift up to 35ms per day without external time refresh.
Events are time stamped to 1 millisecond regardless of where they physically terminate on the Radio and a standard GPS interface enables the Callisto IES system to synchronise to satellite time.
Environmental.
Callisto IES meets and exceeds the specified IEC 69-2 environmental requirements as follows:
