Simply connect a webcam to your computer and add video information to your recorded data. Key Features Connects to any computer via USB interface 8 slots for isolated DAQP-series signal conditioners 24 bit resolution, 204.8 kS/s per channel Eight simultaneous analog inputs sample data at up to 204.8 kS/s and in combination with DAQP-series isolated signal conditioners almost any sensor can be connected. Simultaneous sampling, separate ADC per channel Popular measurands are: EPAD2 expansion for slow signals Strain Current Acceleration Force Torque Pressure Sound Position RPM Frequency Velocity Resistance And more The included DEWESoft application software adds powerful measurement and analysis capability, turning the DEWE-50-USB2-8 into a dedicated recorder, scope, data logger or FFT analyzer. 2 high speed CAN interfaces DEWESoft instrument software included The DEWE-50-USB2-8 is the perfect fit for Mobile applications e.g. mobile shock and vibration tests Field service e.g. bringing into service tasks Maintenance e.g. order tracking In-vehicle tests e.g. trouble shooting, OBDII data recording Industrial applications e.g. balancing The isolated signal conditioners make this unit almost indestructible and a safe investment for many years. pORTABLE inSTRUMENTs DEWE-50-USB2-8 Voltage 2 counters or 6 digital inputs www.dewetr o n.c o m 1 Connectivity Analog input There are eight slots for DAQP series isolated signal conditioners. The internal A/D system offers eight analog inputs, each has its own sigma-delta A/D converter and is sampled at up to 204.8 kS/s at 24 bit resolution. Anti-aliasing filters are included for each channel. DEWETRON offers a wide range of DAQP modules, see pages 6 and 7 for an overview. USB and SYNC interfaces The USB connection to a host computer is secured with a unique mini-USB connector which actually screws into the backside of the DEWE-50-USB2-8, locking it in place, and guarding against accidental disconnection. For channel expansion up to 16 analog inputs a second DEWE-50-USB2-8 can directly be attached to the unit, USB and SYNC interfaces are prepared. EPAD To enable signal conditioning for additional slow signals an EPAD interface is prepared. DEWETRON EPAD2 series modules to acquire quasi-static thermocouple, RTD, voltage or current signals can be connected to this interface by a single cable. The sampling rate of an EPAD2 input channel is approx. 10 Hz / amount of modules. pORTABLE inSTRUMENTs DEWE-50-USB2-8 CAN 2 There are two high speed CAN interfaces which are able to acquire data from vehicle CAN – or vehicle OBDII interface – as well as from any sensor outputting CAN data. Additionally DEWETRON CPAD2 modules can be connected to a CAN interface. These modules have the same features as EPAD2 but the sampling rate does not depend on the amount of attached modules, so it can be 10 Hz in any case. Option 50-8-OUT-5 Optional eight BNC sockets can be installed to provide access to the conditioned ±5 V signal of each DAQP module. www.de we t ron .co m Counter input features DEWETRON has advanced the state-of-the-art in counter/encoder inputs in our data acquisition systems. The key advancement is that our counters are PHASE SYNCHRONIZED. Referring to the diagram, you can see that a standard counter is always a sample behind. With software interpolation you can get closer, but only with DEWETRON’s advanced time shifting technology are both the phase and amplitude fully corrected! Normally it is a difficult balancing act to provide lots of capability and performance, without making the user interface cumbersome and hard to learn. But with careful and innovative design, we have done exactly that!
