SUMMARY
A professional, microprocessor-controlled inverter welding power-source
for TIG and Stick (MMA) applications, featuring IGBT technology and TIG
Lift and High-Frequency arc-ignition modes, for use in AC (alternating
current) or DC (direct current) modes.
TARGET APPLICATIONS
The TIG 200 AC/DC HF is designed to be user-friendly and simple to
operate, with easy selection between TIG and Stick modes, and between
HF and Lift TIG arc ignition, via the quick selection switches on the panel.
The smooth DC output is ideal for TIG or Stick welding of mild steel,
stainless steel & copper, whilst the addition of controllable squarewave
AC output allows TIG welding of aluminium and titanium alloys.
The built-in gas solenoid, TIG torch switch socket and remote foot-control
option make this portable unit a perfect solution for fabricators, on-site
repairers and automotive restoration users.
FURTHER INFORMATION
In TIG mode, this model offers a wealth of features, including adjustable slope-down ‘craterfill’ current control, TIG torch latching, pulse
control, adjustable post-gas timer and AC waveform adjustment. It is IP21-rated and includes protection against under-voltage, overvoltage, over-current and thermal overload.
In addition, the high open-circuit volts offered by the TIG 200 AC/DC HF makes it ideal for Stick welding with a range of different
electrodes, including low-hydrogen, cellulosic or special (eg aluminium) electrodes in MMA applications.
TIG 200 AC/DC HF is supplied as a power-source only. A TIG welding torch kit (including regulator, earth clamp and gas input hose) is
available separately. Furthermore, a Stick welding leads kit and remote TIG foot control are also available as optional accessories.
