MP07-0560-1 AZZAUS 1207 1K BOC Smootharc TIG 200 AC/DC It’s the latest addition to the acclaimed Smootharc welding range – with all the functionality, features and quality welders can expect from BOC products. BOC now has the most comprehensive TIG welding offer on the market, including TIG equipment, consumables, torches and shielding gases. No other manufacturer can match this full package offer. It’s a complete start to finish welding solution. The new BOC Smootharc TIG is an inverter based TIG welding machine with added MMA welding capability. This machine will consistently deliver high quality TIG welding of steel, stainless steel, copper and most alloys. It’s balanced AC also allows cleaning action control whilst welding aluminium. Introducing the new BOC Smootharc TIG 200 AC/DC Only BOC has the full package – TIG equipment, consumables, torches and market leading shielding gases BOC Smootharc TIG 200 AC/DC The BOC Smootharc 200 TIG AC/DC is a high quality, robust, inverter based TIG welding machine with built-in MMA welding capability. With its large number of variable functions, the Smootharc TIG 200 AC/DC allows complete control of your welding parameters. BOC offers the most comprehensive TIG AC/DC welding package available The Smootharc DC characteristics of the machine allow quality TIG welding of steel, stainless steel, copper and most alloys in the DC+ or DC- mode. The added pulse option with separate control of peak and background current, pulse width and frequency, provides you with perfect control of welding parameters when welding thin material. When the machine is matched with BOC shielding gases and BOC Profill TIG welding rods, it will consistently deliver the highest quality weld metal. The AC option on the machine is complemented by AC balance control that allows you to set the welding parameters to achieve the maximum penetration or cleaning required for the specific application. Adjustable post flow and down slope ensure maximum quality of crater filling and protection when welding all materials. To take the guesswork out of torch selection BOC has designed an AC/DC TIG pack – a dedicated 200A TIG torch that plugs straight into the machine. Your existing BOC 26F/FX torch need only to be fitted with an external contactor (available from BOC Gas & Gear stores). BOC also carries a comprehensive range of TIG tungsten for every material and mode of welding. Applications – Sheet metal – Thin gauge aluminium – Stainless steel and aluminium fabrications – Pipe welding – Root runs where high quality welds are required – Welding of reactive materials such as titanium and magnesium Non-consumable TIG Tungsten BOC offers a full range of Tungstens, available at your local Gas & Gear store Steels, Low Alloys, Stainless Steels, Coppers, Titanium and Nickel Alloys Aluminium and Magnesium (and alloys) Features & Benefits – The complete package offer A one stop solution – BOC now offers TIG equipment, consumables, torches and shielding gases. – Inverter technology Delivers better power efficiency, a high duty cycle (60% @ 200A) while being a lightweight machine (20kg). – Single-phase 240V Gives greater usage location options – not confined to factory power location outlets. – Low amperage setting 5-200A means you can weld thin materials. – Pulse option Allows reduced heat input which helps reduce distortion and weld thinner materials. – AC/DC functionality Means you can weld any material, including aluminium. – AC balance control Lets you select the amount of penetration or cleaning required when welding aluminium. – Slope down and post flow time Prevent crater cracking and oxidation of the weld metal by adjusting the post flow of shielding gas and the rate of current reduction. – 2T/4T Increases the welder comfort when welding for long periods of time. – Remote control receptacle Allows the attachment of a foot control or remote pendants. – Fully supported by the BOC network The machine is backed by BOC’s national service network. – MMA option Can be used as a MMA machine. – 12 month warranty Excluding torch and work leads.
