HIGHER EDUCATION IN ESTONIA I CYCLE: BACHELOR’S The nominal length of the academic Bachelor’s study programme is 3 years and studies give a total of 180 ECTS credit points. Graduates from Bachelor’s programmes are awarded a Bachelor’s degree. The nominal length of the first cycle professional higher education studies lasts for 3-4 years (180-240 ECTS credits) leading to a professional higher education diploma. In most cases, when applying, you need to present your application, previous education diploma (Bachelor’s diploma) and transcripts. You also have to present proof of knowledge in English.
