1.
Addition to Special Provisions, page 31. Proposed Fee Schedule Form 9 has been REVISED adding Spring Hill
Campus home/building as described below. REVISED Proposed Fee Schedule Form 9 is attached.
Spring Hill Campus (Spring Hill)
Property interior includes a temperature controlled home/building located on an adjacent lot to the Campus. Building consists of a
kitchen, living room, dining area, three (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms and laundry area for a total of 1734 sq. ft. of space with
carpet or tile flooring. There is a 200 sq. ft. addition and a 190 sq. ft screened enclosure. Building interior equals 2124 sq. ft. Building
interior to be cleaned (dust, mop, vacuum, wash windows, clean bathrooms and kitchen, sweep screened area and remove cobwebs)
four (4) times per year.

Question and Answer Addendum
Questions Regarding Current RFP #16-02:
1. Does the College require a Bid/Proposal Bond as part of this RFP for Custodial Services?
No, there is not a bid/proposal bond requirement.
2.
Does the College have any new construction planned?
No, there is no new construction planned at this time.
3.
Are there areas on the campuses where an articulating lift cannot access the building/windows for power washing
and/or window cleaning?
No, care must be taken moving the articulating lift across sidewalks to prevent damage but the articulating lift can access
all buildings.
4.
Could you provide floor plans for each building on all of the campuses?
For security reasons, the College does not distribute floor plans.

5.
Which campuses have a washer/dryer hookup? If there is a campus without it, would one be able to be installed? Who
would bear the cost of this?
The College does not have provisions for washer/dryer hookups. The custodial services company is responsible for
outsourcing the cleaning of their mops, rags, etc.
6.
Do all full-time employees at each campus work the same number of hours and how many hours would that be? (RFP
16-02 page 17)
Page 17 of the RFP references the staffing levels provided by the current contracted custodial services vendor. Each
Proposer would need to determine staffing levels and the schedule of hours needed to fulfill the College’s needs based on
the Scope of Work provided in the RFP.
7.
Interior or exterior mats? How many walk-off mats are currently used at each campus and what are the sizes? (RFP
16-02 page 27)
Vendor shall provide interior walk-off mats (RFP 16-02 page 25). Current *approximate size and *quantities per campus

A special articulating lift would be required to clean the exterior windows.
9.
Does the Incumbent currently sub-contract for window cleaning services at the Porter Campus. If so could provide
the sub-contractor name?
The College does not require that a sub-contractor is used. Currently this service is sub-contracted with DPI Pressure
Washing.

Price Proposal guidelines:
The pricing will be broken into two (2) sections. All set up activities labor cost services are all inclusive and
included in the costs.
1. Interior detailed cleaning gross square feet. These spaces will be cleaned on a daily basis per scope of
work in this RFP. The Spaces excluded from this contract are shown on the marked up facilities data
base (minus sign with color coded blue). Examples of spaces excluded from this contact are electrical,
mechanical, communications and storage rooms, warehouse space, kitchen areas, chiller plant, dugouts,
etc.
2. Exterior general cleaning gross square feet of all covered walkways, stairways, gazebos, picnic and park
bench areas are marked on facilities data list (color code red). These spaces will be cleaned per the scope
of work in this RFP. *Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch facilities data list includes non-cleaning (color
code purple for Parking Garage power washing).

1. Pressure washing of all exterior building surfaces including canopies, covered walkways, windows,
soffits, all brick surfaces, etc. per scope of work in this RFP. Price out one full cleaning per year.
The “Itemized Exterior Building Pressure Washing Annual Cost” sheets must be completed and
totals transferred to the “Summary of Exterior Pressure Washing” table below. This work is
beyond the normal cleaning of building surfaces.
