COMPANY SERVICES Design-Build Services Project Management Value Engineering Bid Document Review Conceptual Estimating Cost Estimating Constructability Review General Construction Because of our flexibility, we are able to change many of our normal procedures, if necessary, to accommodate a project’s specific needs. We are very experienced in construction management and frequently suggest alternative ways to get the project done within tight budgets. Innovation and creativity drive our organization. We constantly evaluate our methods of performing work. We are not afraid to try new ideas, but carefully evaluate and test them before proceeding. General Contractor / Construction Management February 2014 STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY In order to ensure competitive pricing, Eklutna Services obtains multiple bids from subcontractors and suppliers for all significant portions of the work. We pre-qualify both subcontractors and suppliers so that the only firms that we work with have proven reputations for excellent and timely work execution. Our approach can be as open book as is desired. We value Owner input on subcontractors and suppliers that they have positive experiences with. We provide monthly job cost reports that show progress against budget. Contracts: Depending on the scope, using a Fixed Price basis may be carefully considered. That requires clear drawings and specifications. When the design is adequate, FFP works fine. We are very flexible and will work under most any contractual arrangement you desire. Alternatively, we have no problem with doing work on a Cost Plus with Guaranteed Maximum Price process. This methodology first establishes an appropriate budget and then allows the Owner to review and approve every expenditure. A cost saving clause for performance under the budget limit is frequently desirable. We would propose a 70/30 split of any funds saved by our efforts to keep costs down. As your team member, Eklutna Services provides you with an experienced team that possesses the skills necessary for the timely project completion. Our skills include the following: Our Timberline estimating system and Microsoft Project scheduling skills are excellent Solid practical knowledge in the use of CPM scheduling Experienced and skilled crews available SKILLS Established relationships with public officials, subcontractors, and suppliers Previously completed varied work under tight timeframes Extensive experience in material coordination A good track record of ensuring users are pleased Sage 100 Contractor Accounting Software We accomplish these tasks with a committed project management staff.
