MATRIX
Used to set up connections between input and output channels in order to route audio. The
colored knob controls and mute (x) controls show where a connection has been established.
When you move the mouse over the matrix, a colored line will show which input and output
channels would be linked if a connection were made.

Digitool® MX16/32/LIVE
The multi-channel audio processors shall be available in hardware configurations of 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs or 16 analog inputs and 16 analog outputs, and one AES input
pair for each 8 analog inputs. Each input shall provide enhanced, high quality mic pre-amps and line inputs.
The front panel of the processors shall contain a full-color LCD display showing the cross points of each input and output, as well as the processing blocks for each pre- and post- router
signal chain. The front panel shall contain the navigation controls for selecting and controlling each digital signal processing parameter, which are to be comprised of three decoders to
drive selection of menu headers, functions and control parameters for each function. A larger rotary encoder shall be provided for course and fine adjustment of the parameters and a
“push-to-select” function operable from the encoder. A lighted “edit” control key shall be located on the front panel to place the processor in edit mode and provide access to all controls
to the user. On the front panel of the 8 x 8 channel configurations, there shall be individual mute controls and 5-segment LED meters for each input and output. On the front panel of
the 16 x 16 channel configuration, there shall be individual mute controls and 5-segment LED meters for each input or output, and a control key to toggle between the input and output
views and controls of each bank.
Each model shall be capable of hosting an external graphical user interface via a Type B USB connector on the front panel. Each model shall extend and display the GUI to a laptop or
PC connected via the USB port. The GUI shall contain a routing table for selecting individual inputs and routing to individual outputs, signal chains for the pre-router processing and the
post-router processing with each of the individual function controls visible and available for operation and programming, and a group of global controls for setting system parameters,
naming inputs and outputs, constructing serial and CV control interfaces and setting security passwords to prevent tampering with presets.
The rear panel of the processor shall provide a power switch and IEC AC power inlet. The rear panel shall provide access to all of the analog and digital audio input and outputs
via three-position miniature Euro-style connectors. Eight control voltage ports shall be provided via two-position miniature Euro-style connectors. One of the variants of the 8 x8
