TİSLAMİD®/PA6 Compounds
Tislamid®6 is the registered trade mark for Polyamide 6 compounds produced by Tisan.
Main specifications
Tislamid 6 ensures a high impact resistance and excellent mechanical properties of the
material. Combining mineral fillers and glass fiber in production has proved to be a highly
successful development. It results in valuable material properties like extreme rigidity and
stiffness, high dimensional stability and minimal warpage. These qualities are most
important when is needed to large surface area.
Modification of PA6 by compounding with glass fiber, mineral fillers and other modifying
additives produces a substantial change in the properties of the base material and gives to
compositions based on Tislamid®6 the following properties:
High stiffness, strength and temperature resistance, excellent impact resistance and
toughness at low and high temperatures, high dynamic strength, very good abrasion
resistance, hydrolytic stability (special grades), excellent chemical resistance, highest
stress resistance even at cold temperatures, high wear and fatigue resistance even at high
temperatures, good electrical properties, easy processability. Flame retardant compound
with halogen and halogen free, UL94 V-2 or V-0 classifications (UL 94 approved grades),

Tislamid®6 product family includes a wide range of viscosity number and glass fiber
reinforced, UV/light resistant, impact modified, laser markable, heat-stabilised, mineral
filled, flame-retarded various type of additives.
Tislamid®6 formulations can also be developed to meet spesific market needs.
Tislamid®6 is a fully recyclable material and it can be reused after regrinding.
The user shall always verify that the compound obtained by mixing virgin and reground
material is suitable for the specific application and that its properties meet the

Fillers/reinforcements/ modifiers
Glass fibers - glass beads - carbon fibers - aramid fibers - mineral fillers are available with
varying contents in different combinations. And also filled materials containing PTFE and
molybdenum disulphide are available for bearing materials with appropriately low friction
and improved wear resistance. Heat stabilizers-hydrolysis stabilizers-lubricants-UV
stabilizers, electrical conductive etc. are being used in non-reinforced and reinforced
grades to increase specific material properties.
Applications
Unreinforced (UNR): High dimensional stability are achieved with heat stabilized
unreinforced Tislamid®6 UNR compounds where thermal changes are very different.

Glass Fiber Reinforced (GFR): High impact strength, high tensile strength and toughness

Flame retardant Reinforced (FR): Flame retardant Tislamid®6 compounds are
developed for industrial materials according to international standards and GWIT

Mineral Filled (MNF): It’s achieved perfect surface appearance and anti-scratch

TİSLAMİD®/PA6,6 Compounds
Tislamid®6,6 is the registered trade mark for Polyamide 6,6 compounds produced by

Polyamide 6,6 has a higher molecular structure than Polyamide 6 due to a higher level of
hydrogen bonding and maximum alignment between molecular chains, creating a tighter
structure that better resists crushing, matting and stain penetration.Polyamide 6,6 is
preferred over Polyamide 6 because of its higher strength and toughness.
The hygroscopic sensitivity of Polyamide 66 is lower than Polyamide 6. And Polyamide 6,6
the preferred Polyamide 6 for high temperature performance products.

Polypropylene is a semi-crystalline thermoplastics and best known members of the
polyolefines family. Polypropylene is an economical material that offers a combination of
outstanding physical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties not found in any other
thermoplastic.
Polypropylene provides excellent resistance to organic solvents, degreasing agents and
electrolytic attack in corrosive environments. Polypropylene varieties are preferred in
applications in cold/winter conditions. The easiness in processing and the diversity of its
physical properties depending on its low density make Polypropylene a charming and
talended material compared to more expensive materials.
Tisoplen®PPH is the most widely utilized. Tisoplen®PPH offers a high tensile strength to
weight ratio and stiffer.
Tisoplen®PPH compounds variously modified, as glass fibre reinforced, UV/light
stabilized, impact modified, heat-stabilised, mineral filled and flame-retarded. Coloured
ones for the automotive, house ware appliances, interior design, illumination design and
building and leisure industries.
Tisoplen®PPH compounds are the ideal solution for a wide number of applications

TİSOPLEN®/PPRC Compounds
Tisoplen®PPRC is the registered trade mark for Polypropylene Random Copolymer
compounds manufactured by Tisan.
The PPRC is thermoplastic resin produced through polymerization of propylene with
ethylene link introduced in the polymer chain. Ethylene is the most common comonomer
which is causes changes to the physical properties of the polypropylene. Because of this
random copolymers exhibit improved optical properties (increased clarity), improved
impact resistance, increased flexibility, and a decreased melting point and also has highly
resistant to attack by such chemicals as acids, alkali's, alcohols, low-boiling hydrocarbon
solvents, and many inorganic chemicals.
Tisoplen®PPRC is a specially modified highly-transparent polypropylene random
copolymer with low melt flow rate.
Tisoplen®PPRC provides excellent impact resistance at low temperature and high
chemical resistance. Combining glass fiber in production has proved to extreme rigidity
and stiffness, high dimensional stability and minimal warpage for extrusion These qualities

TİSESTER®/PBT Compounds
Tisester®PBT is the registered trade mark for Polybutylene Terephthalate compounds
produced by Tisan.
Tisester®PBT grades can be provided fully colored in customized colors with narrow
color specifications colorability even in light colors.
Polybutylene Terephtalate (PBT), semi- crystalline saturated polyester. PBT has excellent
resistance to a wide range of chemicals at room temperature, including aliphatic
hydrocarbons, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, perchloroethylene, oils, fats, alcohols,
glycols, esters, ethers and dilute acids and bases. They are sensitive against strong bases.
Main specifications
Tisester®PBT has high crystalline rate and temperature, high molecular weight polymer
that has an excellent balance of properties and processing characteristics. Because the
material crystallizes rapidly, mold cycle time is fast and molding temperatures can be
lower than for many engineering plastics. Tisester®PBT is excellent for its very good
dimensional stability, low water absorption.
Excellent stiffness and hardness, good mechanical strength, good creep and fatigue
resistance, very good thermal stability, high wear resistance and low coefficent of friction,
good dimensional stability, very good chemical resistance, excellent flow and processing
properties, low water absorption, very good surface finish, no tendency to form stress
cracks, high tracing resistance, high sliding properties, excellent heat ageing behavior.
Flame retardant compound with halogen and halogen free, UL94 V-2 or V-0 classifications
(UL approved grades), glow wire flammability Index, glow wire ignition behavior (no flame),
low smoke density.
In some areas, Tisester®PBT is replacing other crystalline thermoplastics such as
polypropylene, nylon and acetal because of the need for improved performance.

Glass Fiber Reinforced(GFR): Glass-reinforced Tisester®PBT exhibits a two-to threefold
increase in tensile, flexural and compressive strengths and modulus. The reinforced resins
exhibit good resistance to oxidation in hot air, comparable to that of nylon 6 or nylon 6/6.
Water absorption values are relatively low. Exp: Iron base, car mirror cover, door handle,
automotive motors items.
Mineral Filled(MNF): Tisester®PBT Mineral-reinforced, impact-modified grade for rigid
parts, for the production of parts with good surface quality and low warpage,
Exp: Housings and visible parts of domestic appliances automotive power door locks.
Flame retardant Reinforced(FR): Flame retardant Tisester®PBT compounds are
developed for industrial materials according to international standards and GWIT
(850°C-960°C) where flame retardancy is essential. UL-listed under the highest class of
inflammability,V0. Exp: Plug & socket, connector, jacks fora electrical appliances,
contactor switch boxes.
Impact Modified(EP): Tisester®PBT improves strength, stiffness attributes.

TİSARBON®/ PC Compounds
Tisarbon®PC is the registered trade mark for Polycarbonate compounds produced by
Tisan.
Polycarbonate is a member of the best known amorphous engineering polymers. High
light transmission properties and optical applications are preferred. Structure is very
sensitive to moisture so as to use special injection conditions is very important.
Fillers/reinforcements/modifiers
Glass fibers -glass beads-carbon fibers-mineral fillers are available with varying contents
in different combinations. Heat stabilizers-hydrolysis stabilizers-lubricants-UV stabilizerselectrical conductive etc.are being used in non-reinforced and reinforced grades to
increase specific material properties
Polycarbonate possesses excellent impact strength, high heat resistance and good
dimensional stability. Although it is stable to water, mineral and organic acids, it is partially
soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, soluble in the chlorinated ones, and decomposes in
strongly alkaline substances. It has good electrical properties. Products made out of
polycarbonate boast a long life and allow efficient reusability.
Applications
Tisarbon®PC compounds is the excellent impact resistance even at low temperatures.
Dimensional stability is high; ageing resistance is excellent if parts are produced without
internal stresses.
Glass fiber reinforced(GFR): Tisarbon®PC products easily provide high rigidity,
dimensional stability, also doubled flexural tensile and compressive strengths.
Exp: Electrical sockets, terminal boxes, industrial coil, protective case etc. The strength
and dimensional stability of polycarbonates are further enhanced with fibrous glass
reinforcement.
Tisarbon®PC being a good electrical insulator having heat and flame resistant properties,

Polyethylene Terephtalate is a thermoplastic resin of the polyester family and is commonly
used in many different products, including synthetic fibers. It can exist in both a
transparent and a semi-crystalline polymer. Polyethylene terephthalate is a polymer that is
formed by combining two monomers: modified ethylene glycol and purified terephthalic
acid. PET can be modified with additional polymers as well, making it acceptable and

Tisetilen®PE is the registered trade mark Polyethylene compounds manufactured by
Tisan.
Polyethylenes are thermoplastic resins obtained by polymerizing the gas ethylene [C2H4].
Low molecular weight polymers of ethylene are fluids used as lubricants; medium weight
polymers are waxes miscible with paraffin; and the high molecular weight polymers
(i.e., over 6000) are the materials used in the plastics industry. Polymers with densities
ranging from about 0.910 to 0 .925 are called low density; those of densities from 0.926
to 0.940 are called medium density; and those from 0.941 to 0.965 and over are called
high density.
Tisetilen®PE offers a balance of engineering properties combined with high-temperature
performance, chemical resistance, good electrical properties and ease of processing.

Tisaform®POM is the registered trade mark for polyoxymethylene-acetal compounds

Polyoxymethylene(commonly referred to as POM and also known as polyacetal or
polyformaldehyde) is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts that require high
stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. Available in two structures:
copolymer (POMC) and homopolymer(POMH). POM is characterized by good fatigue life,
high resistance to solvents and chemicals and good electrical properties. Acetals often
compete with nylons for many of the same applications.
Tisaform®POM is used where requirements for good moldability, fatigue resistance and
