Tisester®PBT grades can be provided fully colored in customized colors with narrow color specifications colorability even in light colors. Polybutylene Terephtalate (PBT), semi- crystalline saturated polyester. PBT has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals at room temperature, including aliphatic hydrocarbons, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, perchloroethylene, oils, fats, alcohols, glycols, esters, ethers and dilute acids and bases. They are sensitive against strong bases. Main specifications Tisester®PBT has high crystalline rate and temperature, high molecular weight polymer that has an excellent balance of properties and processing characteristics. Because the material crystallizes rapidly, mold cycle time is fast and molding temperatures can be lower than for many engineering plastics.
