REMOVE MONITOR FROM VEHICLE AND
PLACE IN A CLEAN WORK AREA.
REMOVE MOUNTING BRACKETS FROM
MONITOR.

REMOVE FOUR #1 PHILLIPS FROM
OUTSIDE OF CASE SECURING BACK OF
MONITOR ASSEMBLY.

SEPARATE FRONT AND REAR OF CASE.

REMOVE FOUR #1 PHILLIPS SECURING
THE FACTORY PCB IN PLACE.

FIND PACKAGE OF FOUR PCB SPACERS
AND FOUR #1 PHILLIPS

INSTALL FOUR PCB SPACERS INTO
LOCATIONS WHERE PCB MOUNTING
SCREWS WERE REMOVED. DO NOT
OVER TIGHTEN.

USING A PIC TOOL, RELEASE THE EIGHT
SMALL LATCHES HOLDING THE LCD
TRIM RING.

SEPARATE FRONT TRIM RING FROM
LCD. SET LCD ASIDE.

ALL COMPONETS SEPARATED AND
INTRAPHEX TRIM RING.

INSERT INTRAPHEX TRIM RING. THE
TRIM RING ONLY FITS CORRECTLY ONE
WAY. YOU CAN CHECK THE FRONT TO
MAKE SURE THAT IT IS INSTALLED THE
CORRECT WAY.

TRIM RING INSTALLED. ***NOTE***
THERE ARE TWO TRIM RINGS INCLUDED
IN THE KIT, CHOOSE THE ONE THAT FITS
INSIDE THE FACTORY TRIM. NO CUTTING
IS NECISSARY FOR THE TRIM RING TO
FIT.

INSTALL THE TOUCH LAYER, BE SURE TO
INSTALL WITH THE CORRECT SIDE OUT.
IF YOU LOOK AT THE TOUCH LAYER IN
THE TRIM RING FROM THE FRONT,
THERE WILL BE A WHITE LINE ON THE
LEFT SIDE IF DONE INCORRECTLY.
THERRE WILL BE NO WHITE LINE IF
DONE CORRECTLY.

REMOVE THE FACTORY PLEXIGLASS
FROM THE LCD MONITOR. IT IS
ATTACHED WITH 1/8” FOAM TAPE.
YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE FOAM
TAPE ALSO.

REINSTALL FACTORY TRIM RING WITH
TOUCH SCREEN TO LCD. THE TOUCH
LAYER RIBBON CABLE SHOULD REST
BETWEEN THE TWO PIECES AS
SHOWN.

IF YOU ARE WORKING ON ONE OF THE
LARGER NISSAN SCREEN ASSEMBLIES,
YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL A SMALL
HOLE IN THE FRAME ALLOWING THE
RIBBON TO PASS THROUGH TO
ENSURE THERE IS ENOUGH LENGTH..

INSTALL INTRAPHEX PCB WITH FOUR
PROVIDED #1 PHILLIPS.

ON SOME MODELS THESE TWO
CAPACITORS MAY BE ORIENTED
DIFFERENT, THIS MAY CAUSE THE PCB
TO HAVE A SLIGHT BEND WHEN
MOUNTED. THIS IS OK.

PUSH THE TOUCH LAYER RIBBON CABLE
INTO THE CONNECTOR SECURING IT BY
PUSHING THE BLACK TAB IN. DOUBLE
CHECK THIS CONNECTION.

PLUG T-HARNESS INTO THE PCB. TWO
CONNECTIONS ARE REQUIRED TO THE
INTRAPHEX PCB. 15 PIN AND 5 PIN.
PLEASE BE SURE THAT THESE
CONNECTIONS ARE TIGHT AND SEATED
CORRECTLY. INCORRECT ASSEMBLY WILL
CAUSE TOUCH AND COLOR ISSUES.

PLUG T-HARNESS INTO FACTORY
CONNECTOR.

ALTHOUGH NOT NECESSARY SOME
TRIMMING ON THE CASE WILL ALLOW
THE CABLES TO EXIT MUCH EASIER.

HERE THE CASE HAS BEEN MODIFIED
AND TESA TAPE ADDED TO PREVENT
CHAFING.

RE-INSTALL THE REAR OF THE CASE
MAKING SURE THAT NO CONNECTORS
COME UNPLUGGED DURING THE
PROCESS. REPLACE FOUR #1 PHILLIPS
SCREWS INTO THE CASE.


DATA CABLE TO LOCATION OF PRODIGY

POWER CONNECTIONS TO REAR OF
RADIO.

ROUTE MICROPHONE AND GPS
ANTENNA FROM DESIRED LOCATIONS
AND CONNECT TO PRODIGY*ONE.2.
GPS ANTENNA CAN BE MOUNTED
UNDER PLASTIC, BUT NEEDS A CLEAR
VIEW OF THE SKY. MICROPHONE
PERFORMS BEST ON DRIVERS A-PILLAR.

ROUTE SPEAKER AND PLACE IN A
SUITABLE LOCATION. IT IS POSSIBLE TO
EXTEND THE SPEAKER CONNECTION IF
NEEDED.

ONCE ALL CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE YOU CAN TEST THE
INTERFACE BEFORE PUTTING THE VEHICLE BACK TOGETHER.

TO TEST TURN ACC ON, WAIT FOR RADIO TO BOOT AND TOUCH THE
TOUCH LAYER IN ANY SPOT FOR 1 SEC

TO EXIT THE PRODIGY INTERFACE, SIMPLY PRESS IN THE BOTTOM LEFT
HAND CORNER FOR THREE SECONDS.

IF YOUR SCREEN DOES NOT SWITCH, YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE TOUCH
LAYER INCORRECTLY OR THE RIBBON CABLE IS NOT CONNECTED.

YOU CAN NOW START THE SETUP OF THE PRODIGY BRAIN. CONNECT
YOUR

TOUCH SCREEN CALIBRATION

USING THE MOUSE (PLUGGED INTO THE
OPEN USB FROM EARLIER) CLICK ON
THE SETTINGS TAB.

ENTER PASSWORD “7777” THEN PRESS
OK TO ENTER SETTINGS MENU.

CLICK ON THE “CALIBRATION” ICON.

NOW USING YOUR FINGER (FROM DRIVER
SIDE OF CAR FOR BEST RESULTS) TOUCH AND
RELEASE THE CROSS IN ALL FIVE
LOCATIONS. THEN YOU CAN PRESS THE
EXIT BUTTON. AT THIS POINT YOU CAN
REMOVE THE MOUSE AS IT IS NO
LONGER NEEDED.

DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE OTHER
SETTINGS INSIDE OF THE SETTINGS
MENU. THEY ARE ALL SET TO DEFAULT.
CHANGING ANY OF THESE SETTINGS
WILL CAUSE ERRATIC BEHAVIOR OR
CAUSE THE SCREEN TO GO BLACK. IF
THIS HAPPENS CALL TECH SUPPORT
FOR ASSISTANCE.
NAVIGATION SOFTWARE

LOCATE THE ENVELOPE CONTAINING
THE NAVIGATION SOFTWARE. OPEN
AND REMOVE THE SD CARD, PLACE SD
CARD INTO THE PRODIGY*ONE.2
MODULE.

ONCE SD CARD IS INSERTED INTO
MODULE, LOCATE “SD CARD DOOR”
AND TWO SCREWS AND INSTALL THE
COVER OVER THE SD CARD SLOT.

USING THE VOLUME SETTING FOR
VOICE, YOU CAN PRESS THE CIRCLE AND
IT WILL REPEAT A PROMPT SO THAT
YOU CAN SET THIS CORRECTLY. CHOOSE
AN OUTPUT THAT COMPLIMENTS THE
RADIO VOLUME OUTPUT.

USER WILL HAVE VOLUME CONTROL FROM THE VOLUME SLIDER BAR
LOCATED IN THE VOLUME SETTINGS.

**NOTE** THE RADIO’S VOLUME KNOB WILL HAVE NO AFFECT ON
OUTPUT


ONCE PROPER FUNCTION HAS BEEN ACHIEVED, YOU CAN RE-ASSEMBLE
THE VEHICLE.

BE SURE TO REPLACE ALL REMOVED SCREWS AND TRIM PANELS.

BE SURE TO LEAVE NAVIGATION QUICK START GUIDE AND USER
INSTRUCTIONS IN THE VEHICLE FOR THE CUSTOMER.

INTRAPHEX THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
NONTRANSFERABLE
Terms of Limited Warranty
INTRAPHEX warrants to the original retail purchaser, that the product(s) purchased from an
INTRAPHEX authorized dealer, in the original vehicle, are free from defects in materials or
workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of THREE (3) years from date of
purchase. A sales receipt, showing the installation date and INTRAPHEX product details are
required to verify proof of purchase. Should the product(s) be determined defective during the
applicable warranty period, the defective product(s) will be repaired or replaced with a
reconditioned product(s), at INTRAPHEX’s sole option. To obtain warranty service, the product(s)
must be returned to an INTRAPHEX authorized installer along with proof of warranty coverage.
Exclusions
- Elimination of externally generated static or noise
- Costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of the product(s)
- Damage to any vehicle parts, accessories or vehicle electrical system.
- Cosmetic damage or damage due to negligence, misuse, abuse, failure to follow operating
instructions, accidental spills or customer applied cleaners
- Damage or loss due to environmental causes such as floods, airborne fallout, chemicals, salt, hail,
windstorms, lightning or extreme temperatures
- Damage or loss due to accidents, road hazards, fire, theft or vandalism.
- Damage due to improper installation or connection, improper connection to equipment of
another manufacturer, modification of existing equipment
- Product(s) which have been opened or tampered with for any reason or which have been
damaged due to alteration or service performed by anyone other than INTRAPHEX
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, INTRAPHEX MAKES NO OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. INTRAPHEX EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS
ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY
BE IMPOSED BY LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS EXPRESSED LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts. In such states, the
limitations or exclusions of this Limited Warranty may not apply. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such states, the exclusion or
