“The City of lakes” Bhopal
Bhopal is known as the City of Lakes for its various natural as well
as artificial lakes and is also one of the greenest cities in India. It is
the 17th largest city in the country and 131st in the world. It is also
surrounded by several places of tourists interest like Sanchi,
Bhojpur, Bheembetika and Udaygiri etc. The city is well connected
by Rail, Road and Air.
About SSIRT
The Sagar Society Interdisciplinary of Research and Technology
(earlier known as Society of Interdisciplinary Research and
Technology) was launched in
July 2009 near a world famous
Buddhist Monument, Stupa of Sanchi .In the meeting of
academicians from various field of Engineering, Management,
Pharmacy and Science .This meeting was chaired by the visionary
chairman of Sagar Group of Institutions Er. Sanjeev Agrawal who is a
great motivator and all –out supporter of research. This is reflected in
the titles of all the institutions of the group which include the world
“Research” .The first president of the society was Prof. P B Sharma an
eminent scientist in the field of interdisciplinary research and Vice
Chancellor Delhi Technical University .In the formative years the
society consolidated its existence by including eminent academicians
from various professional and basic subjects. Right from the first year
of its formation the society stared publication of its research journal
with the title SIRT journal of Engineering ,Management
&Pharmaceutical Science (ISSN No.0976-8416) Since then regular
issue are published by the society with research contributions from
national and international level experts. The society was registered in
February 2013 by Government of Madhya Pradesh with its modified
name Sagar Society on Interdisciplinary of Research and Technology
(Reg. No. 01/01/26302/13). ICIREMPS-2K16 is the third official
conference of the society
which is contemplating to expand in
International wings.

The building and the interior orientation of class rooms,
laboratories, offices, seminar halls etc. are based on Vastu
principles. The building has a user-friendly architecture, providing
wide corridors, spacious and learner friendly class rooms, a big
computerized library with decoration are not only conducive to
intellectual and academic pursuits, but also provide administrative
buildings, hostel, staff quarters, a playground, an indoor auditorium
and parking facilities.
