The Altus LED combines the long life and controllability of LED technology with a low profile and high performance optical design to provide a
sustainable, architecturally pleasing luminaire for general ambient lighting applications.
HOUSING/OPTICS Housing is 3-1/4” deep, die-formed code gauge steel with post painted
high reflectance, non-glare white powder coat finish (90% minimum reflectance) over rust
inhibiting phosphate coat. Rigid unibody construction. Housing includes built in earthquake
brackets. End plates include integral T-bar clips. Wiring access plate provided with two
knockouts and ground screw.
OPTICS/LENS/REFLECTOR Post painted high reflectance white power coat finish. Impactresistant frosted acrylic refracting lens provides excellent shielding and wide distribution. Lens
is held securely in place and hinges from either side. Provides balanced illumination to vertical
and horizontal surfaces. Sloped reflector provides even, indirect lighting while softening visual
contrast between fixture end and ceiling plane.
LEDS Altus LED is available in 2 sizes and 4 light levels (delivered): 2x2, 3700 lumens
(43W); 2x4, 3300 lumens (45W), 5500 lumens (60W), and 7400 lumens (86W). 4100K
CCT standard, 82 CRI (typical). Other color temperatures available. Consult factory for lead
times. LEDs are LM-80 tested. LED operating life is 72,000 hours (L70). Light engines consist
of 128 or 256 LED multi chip packages mounted to a metal core PCB board. LED modules are
replaceable.
ELECTRICAL LED power supply 120-277V, power factor >.9. One power supply used in 46W
and 60W units; two power supplies used in 92W units. Power supply outpt current is 1500 mA
(2x2 46W, 2x4 46W, and 2x4 92W units), and 2100 mA (2x4 60W units). Power supply is
accessible from room side. 0-10V dimming standard, 5-100%.
MOUNTING Mounting to be (T) Lay-in for NEMA type G, T-bar ceilings. Optional Sheetrock/
Plaster Grid Kits available.
