Each author has 15 minutes to introduce, present and conclude their work. There will not be immediate Q&A for each author. We will give 15 min of Q&A at the end of each session and participants may ask questions to any (or all) of the authors. This format is designed to encourage discussion about the ideas presented in all talks. The Poster Session is scheduled to include short introductory presentations (similar to the paper forum utilized in the IEEE PES General Meeting). Each author has 4 minutes to briefly present the background and major findings and encourage attendees to visit their poster (4 slides maximum including the cover slide). The presentation of these summaries will be followed by the traditional poster session. Presentation and Poster Prizes The best oral presentation as well as the best poster will be awarded prizes. The prizes will be judged by a panel of academics and industry engineers and are as follows: • £150 for the best oral presentation • £100 for the best poster Website http://www.ieee-‐manchester.org.uk/meeps-‐2015/ Email ieeesb.pes.chapteruom@gmail.com Detailed Program =:>> am – =:@A am Registration and Coffee =:@A am – B>:>> am Welcome B>:>> am – B>:C> am Keynote Speaker from National Grid B>:C> am – BB:C> am Oral Session ?: Distribution side Demand Response Scheduling with Overhead Line Thermal Ratings for Improved Network Reliability Alexandra Kapetanaki, Victor Levi Risk-‐Constrained AC OPF with Risk Limits on Individual System Stats Dmitry Shchetinin, Gabriela Hug An Importance Sampling Technique for Probabilistic Security Assessment in Power Systems with Large Amounts of Wind Power Camille Hamon BB:C> am – BB:@A am Coffee break BB:@A am – BD:BA pm Keynote Speaker from S&C Electric BD:BA pm – B:BA pm Lunch B:BA pm – D:BA pm Oral Session ?: Distribution side Controllability Metrics for Networks with Distributed Energy Resources Spyros Skarvelis-‐Kazakos, Panagiotis Papadopoulos Modelling Resource Constrained Distribution Networks Experiencing Severe Weather Events David Clements, Pierluigi Mancarella Identification of Electric Power System Stress through Local Voltage Measurement Ren Kang, Malcolm D.
