Automated Peptide Synthesizer (01 Unit)
1. A fully automated and programmable solid phase peptide synthesizer with all
essential accessories listed at Sl.No. 20 below
2. All operations of solid phase peptide synthesis during the synthesis cycle must
be performed with single machine unit
3. The synthesizer must have provisions for performing chemical synthesis of
peptides using either FMOC or BOC chemistry without any hardware
modification in the system
4. System must have provision for synthesis of at least three peptides
simultaneously with completely different peptide sequences in each reaction
vessel using three independent programmes
5. Variable scale of synthesis : From 50 micro mol to 0.30 milli mol or more
6. Reaction vessels compatible with different synthesis scales must be provided

reservoirs, complete filling of waste container, low inert gas pressure, presence

17. Entire procedure of peptide synthesis should be controlled by a computer
equipped with user friendly software with flexibility to custom design different
synthesis protocols as per needs of the user
18. The software may have provision to allow the user to change the synthesis steps
at any desired time during synthesis. There should be provision to re-start the
synthesis protocol from any desired step during synthesis cycle
19. The bidder must essentially agree to perform on-site chemical synthesis of at
least two peptides of about 20 to 25 mer length (as per users requirement)
satisfactorily at the time of installation of machine in the lab
