LED technology reduces energy and maintenance costs when
compared to conventional light sources. They are free of UV and IR
radiation minimizing discoloration and fading of materials. These lamps
are dimmable down to 10%* and are rated at up to 35,000 hours life
with correlated color temperatures (CCT) of 2700K and 3000K. They are
available with a GU5.3 base and 25° and 36° beam angles.
The 8W LED MR16 is a 50 watt halogen replacement, and is designed
to provide years of beautiful, high-quality light at a fraction of the
energy required by comparable halogen lamps. It features an intelligent
temperature sensing capability that prevents the lamp from overheating
when used in recessed applications, further guaranteeing its reliability
and longevity.
