Line Keys
Press to mute or unmute the phone. When phone is muted, the button glows red. A flashing mute button indicates the network connection cannot be found.
Push to turn the headset on or off. When the headset is on, the button glows green.
Push to turn the speaker on or off. When the speaker is on, the button glows green.
Press + to increase the volume and - to lower the volume of the handset, headset, speaker
(when the handset is off the phone, or ringer volume (when the handset is on the phone).
Indicates phone line status
Green : Line is idle
Red (steady): Line is in use
Red (blinking): line is on hold
Orange : Line is unregistered and cannot be used

Deletes the last number or letter.
Deletes an entire item (for example, a number from the Call History list).
Dials a number.
Provides access to phone directories.
Do Not Disturb; prevents incoming calls from ringing your phone.
Opens an item so that you can edit numbers or letters, or enable or disable a feature.
Switches audio from the SPA525G2 to your

Ignores an incoming call

Enters a submenu and when pressed, toggles between Yes or No to enable or disable an option
Placing or Answering a Call
You have the option to do one of the following:
Pick up the receiver
Press the Speaker button
Press the Headset button
Press a green line button (to place a call), or a red flashing line button (to answer a call).
Redial
Press the Redial key to call a recently dialed number.
Ending Calls
To end a call replace the handset, or press the End Call key.
Call Hold
1.
To put a call on hold, press the Hold button.
2.
To resume the call, press the flashing red line button for the call
OR press the Resume softkey button.
Call Transfer
1. Press the Transfer softkey – this places the current call on hold.
2. Dial the number of the person you want to transfer the call to.
3. Wait until the person has answered before completing the transfer by pressing the Transfer softkey.
4. OR
5. To transfer the call before the other person answers, press the
BlindXfer softkey.
6. Dial the number of the person you want to transfer the call to
Call Waiting
1.
Select the answer softkey or press the line key which is flashing.
2.
Toggle between the calls by pressing either line key.
3 Way Conferencing
1.
When in a regular call, press the Conference key.
2.
Dial the person you want to join your call.
3.
Once this person has answered press the Conference key again to set up the three-way call.
Do Not Disturb
Do Not Disturb enables you to send calls straight through to voicemail.
1. Press the soft key DND to turn Do Not Disturb On and off.
Enabling Bluetooth and Pairing with a Mobile Phone
1. Go to: Setup > User Preferences > Bluetooth Configuration and press the Right Arrow key until a blue check mark appears
2. Scroll to Bluetooth Profiles and press the Right Arrow key to enter the profile screen
3. Press Scan, and once the Bluetooth device is discovered, select it from the Select a Bluetooth Device to Pair list
Importing Mobile Phone Address Book into the SPA525G2
1.
Using a Bluetooth connection, pair your mobile phone with the
SPA525G2

Press the Directory softkey, or press the Setup button and select
Directories

Select Personal Address Book
4.
Press the Import softkey
Making a Mobile Phone Call Using Your Cisco SPA525G2
1.
Using a Bluetooth connection, pair your mobile phone with the
SPA525G2
2.
Press the line button associated with your mobile phone (the line button is marked with a mobile phone icon with a flashing lightning bolt).
3.
Place a call using the SPA525G2. After the call is connected, the icon next to the mobile phone display shows that the call is established. The audio goes through the SPA525G2, although the mobile phone display also shows a connected call
Switching Audio from Your SPA525G2 to Your Mobile Phone
You can only switch audio back and forth if the call was placed in association with your mobile phone.
1.
To switch audio from your SPA525G2 to your mobile phone, on a connected call, press the Handset softkey.
2.
To switch audio back to the SPA525G2, press the Handsfree softkey
Playing MP3 Files on Your Phone
The SPA525G2 can play up to 48 .mp3 songs
1.
Insert a USB storage device with .mp3 songs into the USB slot on the SPA525G2
2.
Press the Setup button
3.
Scroll to the MP3 Player and press Select
4.
Press Add List to create a playlist from the songs on the USB device
5.
In the playlist, scroll to the song you want to begin playing and press Play
When you have one or more unheard voice messages waiting, your phone will display a red light above the display screen.
1. To access voice mail: Press the Messages button or dial
*100 and follow the voice prompts.
2. You may also access your voice mail visually using
CommPortal
CommPortal gives you a powerful and easy to use Web interface to your phone settings.
Logging In:
1. Go to https://businessvoice.frontiermessaging.com
2. Enter your phone number
3. Enter your password (same as your voice mail PIN)
Dashboard Page
The dashboard displays new voice messages, recent received and missed calls, contacts, and settings you have applied to your phone.
Messages & Calls
1. The Messages tab displays new and saved voice messages. Play, delete, or market as heard/unheard.
2. Missed Calls, Dialed Calls, and Received Calls show you all your recent called activity.

Easy Call Manager provides a simple set of configurable profiles that allow you to control your call handling quickly and easily.
2.
You can choose from three different profiles, Available, Do
Not Disturb and Forward All Calls.

Click Change Link next to Password in Security Section

Enter Current Password and New Password
4. Click on Confirm
